Deary me piwanoi, it was your error on post #166.

BTW why do you need to quote the post you refer to, even if it is the one directly above? A very annoying trait of yours (amongst others).

Have you considered replying to my rebuttals of your "irrefutable facts" or do you lack the necessary skills to do so?

    ----
    Edit:
It's a trick question Piwi...we all know the answer...
And so I did, never mind cos that does not alter the simple FACT that the claim about the rats is a total crock of shit .

Seems to me most people are just pushing ideas and don't care to find the truth. In a world full of brilliant people with IQs much greater than mine and so much money going toward 'solving' problems, how can things be so f#cked up. It's all about lies and bullshit greed for one side or the other. No one is willing to do the right thing for a mere equal share of the success. Anyone who is objective stands out above all as objectivity about reality and beyond truly is God.

Just ranting because it all makes me feel dead empty.

I don't suppose for a second that you read the letter:

    http://www.gmwatch.org/files/Letter_AWHayes_GES.pdf

Unequivocally, the Editor-in-Chief found no evidence of fraud or intentional misrepresentation of the data. However, there is legitimate cause for concern regarding both the number of animals in each study group and the particular strain selected.
Interestingly, the Authors of the paper responded with an explanation that the same type of rat had been used by Monsanto in earlier experiments, although not for such an extended period.

Piwiannoy has that effect on people. He continues to lie in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary and ignores any facts he does not personally approve of.
he is a washed up old fool with no moral fibre.

So according to you the articles I posted in in 200 and 202 are a total load of bollocks then? and BTW just how, on a percentage basis has the growing of GM crops world wide increased World wide in the last two decades? , maybe the over 17 million farmers World wide(2012) figures have got it all wrong eh , and should sign up to the TD forum and join the merry band of the TDMA ,who see progress and personal enrichment as some how a crime ,that is unless they themselves are getting a big slice of the cake , no doubt Tony Blair the multi millionaire Champagne socialist War monger is your idol "we'll keep the red flag flying here" and .all that crap .

Possibly not the best link to provide in order to refute the claim:
The paper, from a research group led by Gilles-Eric Séralini, a molecular biologist at the University of Caen, France, and published in 2012, showed 'no evidence of fraud or intentional misrepresentation of the data,' said a statement from Elsevier, which publishes the journal. But the small number and type of animals used in the study means that 'no definitive conclusions can be reached.'
Hardly a retraction due to false facts but more under pressure from those with money and influence.

You should print out your facts, take them to the smallest room in your house and put them before you. Following this they should be swiftly put behind you before flushing.

Actually I was hoping for a simple answer to the articles in my posts #200 and 202 as to whether they are a load of twaddle or not

The simple answer is you are as thick as mince and yes, they are all twaddle from dubious sources.
    Thanks for the edit Troy.

Hey up WTF is going on here?, I made a post(195) that I no longer wished to communicate with a certain individual , in his next post he plainly agreed and said "bye bye" , sadly, although I have stuck rigidly to my side ' he has welshed and continues to stalk me unrelentingly at every given opportunity , and although I think that this certain individual would not know fact from fiction among other things. it just goes to prove that his so called "word" means nothing whatsoever to him

The links themselves are not no but your interpretation of them are. I have already explained why in my earlier posts that you have probably not bothered to read and certainly haven't acknowledged.

This one is a little more difficult to provide a short answer to. The link is carefully worded (unlike your pathetic attempt) and does not explain how many farmers started growing GM crops in 1996. The wording includes: "...elected to make more than 100 million independent decisions to plant and replant an accumulated hectarage of more than 1.5 billion hectare..." and yet there are currently only 17.3 million farmers. So that is an accumulated total of 100 million over 16 years.

If the annual growth rate of 6% per annum also applies to farmers then the starting figure would be a little under 7m farmers, which would give an increase of 242% over 16 years. However, in real terms, the number of farmers worldwide would need to be considered. In 2012 ~2.6 billion people depended on agriculture for their livelihood so the increase is from 0.27% to 0.66% of farmers growing GM crops. Put into this perspective, it doesn't look such a colossal growth that you would want us all to believe.

He doesn't want truth. He wants an argument. He starts threads and asks for opinions - and he loves you to write your opinions - so he can argue with you. Nothing more. Nothing less. Crack open the Chang or the pineapple grog, start up the computer and argue with dozens of people at the same time. Heaven for Piwi. Fair enough, but please don't ever believe he wants the truth. His mind is closed. He already knows all the "truth" he will ever want. Don't get sucked in.

How the fuck would you know whats true and whats not you never read the links I produce , I do not ask anyone to join in to what I have to say but it would appear that certain people seem have an overbearing or one could rightly say pathological will to try and prove me wrong ,why not just totally ignore me then all concerned would be far far happier , the simple fact is that the growing of GM crops is increasing year in year out ,that is a simple undeniable FACT , do not take my word for it (as if you ever do) do your own research and you will plainly see its grown a hundred fold in the last 20 years .

Oh And I forgot to add , for those who can force themselves to read the article ,maybe you can inform me as to just why this latest breakthrough is GM food technology is some how "wrong" ? and of course the usual personal insults do not qualify as an answer

All this interfering with nature by top scientists when it would be far better to spray the potato crops with up 15 applications of noxious chemicals to stop the blight which was responsible for the Irish potato famine and untold deaths which was a direct result of it 'New GM crop would have survived Irish potato famine' - The Irish Post

Whoops I appear to have missed out as to just how many people died as a direct result of the blight in Ireland ,according to my research upwards of 750,000 died as a result of the blight over a ten year period , you lot will be telling me next that finding a vaccine for small pox and Diphtheria was going against nature too
