    Comment from cricinfo on Leymann

Posted by Hodra99 on (August 22, 2013, 4:55 GMT) All those complaining...please relax. Listen to the interview and take it in it's context...Lehmann was his usual jovial self talking to two mates of his on a radio station from the city he grew up and played the majority of his cricket in. Take a deep breath people and enjoy the cricket!
I think this person has it right.

More tongue in cheek than anything ....

    Yep. Let's enjoy the cricket!

Not that I am watching this match.

I'm staying in a an old zen buddhist temple in the mountains of japan. The zen priest comes in the mornings and evenings but i am alone here besides that, and only have a very limited time on the internet.

I checked cricinfo scores when watson was on 80 - but just had to see if he got his tonne - then didn't check the scores till after lunch today.

I'm having a good time getting to know Wally - but the first few days were tough. He's alright once you get used to him

Lehmann can spout off all he likes, this England team won't give a toss what's thrown at them Down Under. It didn't bother them last time, and it won't bother them this time.

Especially Stuart, he is the "Give them shit" bloke.

3-1 has to look better than 4-0

    Much sex?

I'd fight her, even though I'm not from Queensland and I'm not too tough, and I'd be willing to lose.

I'm a bit worried about the cricket today, don't want the Aussies batting all day and smashing our 2 youngsters all over the shop...

Fair point, Bob; neither look good enough at this time. We have proven performers for fast bowlers and ok spinners. Would be nice to have a proper Botham style allrounder at 5 or 6. Or just a decent batsman who could bowl a few overs when required.

Lehmann pleaded guilty to breaching Article 2.1.7 of the ICC Code of Conduct, which relates to "public criticism of, or inappropriate comment in relation to an incident occurring in an international match or any player, player support personnel, match official or team participating in any international match."

    1. Former Australia captain Ian Chappell, who played 75 Test matches between 1964 and 1980, says he disagrees with national coach Darren Lehmann calling Stuart Broad a cheat.
"Cheat is not a word that should be used light-heartedly, and even if you are being light-hearted that is something you should steer away from," he tells BBC Radio 5 live.
"Even when you have your tongue in your cheek, it is pretty hypocritical for an Australian to complain about somebody not walking."

Australia are the better side but England are winning the series 3-0. Our bowling has been ok,the batting has been below average sometimes there is no justice think Australia should take at least 1 win but the weather forecast is not looking good.

Only 3 of the Aussie team could get in the England side.

England have had nothing to play for since they retained the Ashes.
Even then, they managed to win the fourth when everything went against them. That's because they're the better side....

I am disappointed with our batting we need a little bit more aggression.Getting bogged down Pietersen's even looking like Boycott now.

I think one of the biggest positives Australia can take from this tour is the maturing as a player of Steve Smith. He may have gotten his test maiden ton at the Oval, but he has prolly been our most consistent batsman. It seems we have filled another one of our batting positions at last. His leg spin has also proved to be more than useful.

    Congrats on your 100 Smithy!
