Nice to see them playing with such confidence.

As I type, Beale has just crossed the chalk.

Oh, about the link to watch, I had 4 to choose from but none of them connected, so apologies for that.

    Eden Park next week

    ---

47 - 26 ... Aussies highest ever score against the All Blacks.
    Rugby Pass works fine.

when the ball is held up over the line the defending team gets a goal line drop out instead of the attacking team getting a 5m scrum
Horrible. Reward the attaching team please.... Rugby is beautiful, in part because an attacking team can build, and build and build the pressure and sooner or later either a team will score, a penalty be coughed up, or even a turn over. Don't remove that aspect of the game!

England v Wales; England lots, Wales a few less.

Wales were decent at times, England were decent at times. The good point was that England are building a lot of quality depth. We have 3 good players in virtually all positions, and looks like we're building.

I wouldn't be surprised if Wales win next week - England, Wales and Ireland are very close; home advantage usually being enough to get the win.

I'm glad England won for no other reason than Wales being the no.1 ranked team for anything longer than a day would have been an ever bigger joke than the 1 day they were the no.1 ranked team for.

Quit your wind-ups already D48. You know they're not a proud race and have a long history of poaching players/coaches/staff from countries that are good at sports, so why did you bring this up?. Just trying to get a bite or something?. Fucken shit stirrer...

We'll be playing you in the quarter-final, get ready...

The Eddie Jones v Michael Cheka results:

    Rugby World Cup 2019-screenshot-2019-08-12-13-35-a

We average 15 point wins per game over the period. But, you lot are improving, so should be a decent game.

A great Englishman, Sir Eddie of Randwick:

Gotta say, I'm very happy with this squad. I suspect we'll lose to Wales on Saturday, but we're building nicely to be one of the best 4 or 5 teams in the tournament; I reckon England, Ireland, Wales, SA, Kiwis or Australia could win this tournament...

    They're still whining about it here . . . even the sportscasters in the news . . . whine, whine, whine . . . first it's no red card . . . now it's the "choke-holds", Wobblies playing dirty . . .

    Honestly, worse than the Poms

It is getting pretty silly now, they were magnanimous on evening they lost, but as the realization set in, so did the whining.

Yeah, it gets boring all that stupid whining; Kafer is an utter fukwit, not the only one, but some of the Kiwi journos are as bad or worse at times.

The Aussies were deserving winners on the day. It'll be interesting to see how it goes at Eden Park this weekend - I'll be watching.

I happen to think it's good to see the ABs lose every now and then, especially to Australia . . . it keeps it interesting and is a real rivalry. Most of the Kiwis I know here feel the same . . . plus they're a bit tired of everything being about the ABs, all the time.

Anyway, World Cup . . . It'll have to be the Wobblies with England or uNZud losing out

Looking at how well advance tickets have sold, (85%) Japan has been an excellent choice. Keep that kind of host selection criteria and grow the game.

If Austalia beat NZ by more than 15 points later then NZ could fall as low as 6th in the world rankings I was reading somewhere, should the highly unlikely happen would make a total mockery of the ranking system.

Saw the same thing, I think England would need to win by X amount as well. And yes it’s ridiculous. Obviously there’s some algorithm and calculations behind it all but fucked it if makes sense to me.

Don't forget ... All Blacks and the Wallabies at Eden Park, Auckland.

    Kick-off:

    Aussie time 5:35pm

    Thai time 2.35pm

Australia's SE Island (KIWI) time ... about 2 decades ago

    ---

Bledisloe Cup rugby: Why the Wallabies will beat the All Blacks at Eden Park (and why they probably won't)

    https://www.nzherald.co.nz/sport/new...ectid=12259322

    ---

    Weather should be 12 - 14 C with a better then 50% chance of rain/showers

This link is currently working ... cricfree.live/watchfeeds/index/9

Or choose any of the links displayed on this page ... https://cricfree.sc/watch/live/new-z...live-streaming
Just don't click what looks like 2 men talking at the bottom of that page ... it becomes a dead end.

Also don't click the 'HD' option ... just the 'watch' option.

Links usually come live between 30 mins and just before the event.

Trying to find more two non-Pasifika in the 'All Blacks' lineup

Having said that and shedding my dislike for the overbearing ABs, I can't see the Wobblies repeating Perth

Endless offences on the line by the Kiwis; time after time they get away with these professional fouls without yellow cards...

Kiwis look powerful, but their discipline is terrible, could have been several yellow cards for persistent fowls, not rolling away, and I've seen reds given for that neck judo throw... Hometown reffing to say the least.

Beale is worth 20 points to the opposition, just not good enough to be fullback at this level.

Both "new" Kiwi wingers are playing really well.

    l.
    Shoulda been red.

But the difference is the All Blacks have put the pressure on with the tackles and getting the rewards. Aussies look horrible. the problem with Beale is he is either sublime or horrible. no in between.
