Do you mean via your True subscription? Don't quote me on this but I think not unfortunately. My understanding is that True has lost the beIN partnership for whatever reason (likely related to the World Cup rights though I guess).

Anyways you can check it out here: https://connect-th.beinsports.com/en

It's basically 'internet TV' for want of a better description -- i.e. you watch over your Internet connection on a phone, laptop etc. (or connected to your TV through cable or Chromecast or similar).

I won't call you dumb over it though as it's only recently that I've manged to work it out myself.

Oh ye of little faith (and apparently Googling ability)...

beIN Asia Pacific has secured exclusive rights to the 2019 Rugby World Cup in the region.

The countries where beIN will have the broadcast rights are Cambodia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Singapore.
The tournament, being hosted by Japan, is expected to generate a great amount of interest in the sport across Asia.

All 48 matches being played in the tournament will be available on a dedicated channel, beIN SPORTS RUGBY and beIN’s live-streaming app, beIN SPORTS CONNECT.

And to be fair it is two subscriptions (RugbyPass for 12mths and the World Cup via beIN). Still a bit shit though.

Click on that 'Ingenico' option and that'll take you to a credit card screen (Visa and Mastercard only I think).

Basically comes down to a rights issue.

All those comps sell their broadcast rights separately and the World Cup is its own deal so when it rolls around every four years it basically comes down to a financial decision and unfortunately most of the Asian markets can't afford it.

Whilst we acknowledge the request to close your RugbyPass account, we wonder if you’ve fully thought this through? We just happen to have a never-ending supply of the world’s best rugby all year long, and quite frankly it seems odd that you’d want to miss any of it!

If the world’s best rugby streamed live in HD to any device, wherever you want, whenever you want simply isn’t enough for you, we may be willing to come to some sort of arrangement…

For example, how does 25% off an annual subscription sound?

I'm keeping mine. Other than not being able to secure the RWC rights it's pretty good all things considered I reckon.

I'm a grump cvnt. so cancelling it makes me feel good.

But the cancellation will probably only last as long as one of PB's flunces.

*And 25% off for threatening to cancel is a good deal, imho.

Actually that reminds me of another issue I had with RugbyPass previously... I took advantage of some offer, I think it might've been 12 mths for X% off the normal price, but for some weird reason they didn't automatically upgrade my account and have some weird system where you need to cancel and then renew?!

I only noticed it in the next billing cycle when I got charged for the expected 12 mths but also the usual monthly fee so I had to contact them and they said their policy was you had to cancel first. At which point I got grumpy and was like 'why the fuck would I subscribe to two accounts and surely you should've upgraded that shit at the time'.

watchAFL billed my card twice for an annual pass. I had a similar conversation with them, they then took 2-3 weeks to refund me.
