NZ looking pretty crap in first 25 mins.
It's coming home![]()
TRY ...
All Blacks lacking in all stats except one -- scoreboard.
SA's line defense is so fast ... I'm surprised the AB's haven't tried a few chip kicks over the line.
Maybe I should SMS their Coach?
Draw! 16-16
That line-out, just before the try was scored wasn't even close to straight.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
(cost me money)
World cup winner will come from one of those 2, meet in the group stage then I think they cant meet again till the final.
Final, Australia 16 - 10 Argentina.
I am afraid the Wallabies, although a good result yesterday have no new talent coming through.
The forwards and particularly the scrum look far improved but the backs look old and will never compete in the W.C.

All Blacks to carry special tribute to Sir Brian Lochore on jerseys
The All Blacks will treasure the chance to wear Sir Brian Lochore's All Blacks number on their jerseys on Saturday night, coach Steve Hansen says.
Each All Black jersey will carry the number 637 for the opening Bledisloe Cup test of the year, against the Wallabies, in Perth on Saturday night.
Before Saturday's test gets underway, Rugby Australia will also be holding a moment's silence to honour the loss of one of New Zealand's most influential All Blacks.

I just randomly saw that other day that if the ABs lose to the Wobblies away and Wales beat England at home then Wales will take the #1 ranking.
Which makes no sense at all.
![]()
^ just the way the ranking points system works .... Wales last beat NZ in 1953 and have 30 straight losses since
If Australia does win, Wales could be #1 for just a day if they lose to England on Monday, putting NZ back at #1
Also this weekend:
Argentina v South Africa
Ireland v Italy
England v Wales
USA v Japan
Fiji v Samoa
Oh yeah, been getting so excited for the Bledisloe I forgot there were more on

They're worth signing up for in any event. Quite cheap and reliable, I think you can purchase short-term subscriptions as well.

Thanks for that.
No worries.
And yup, weekly / monthly / annual:

Fcuking idiots.
Mike Brown and Ben Te'o dropped for brawling at social event?
10 August, 2:55amAlex Dombrandt, Ben Spencer, Mike Brown and Ben Te’o were all excluded from England’s latest World Cup warm-up squad. Whilst it was originally believed that the four players were simply not up to the standard required by coach Eddie Jones, it appears that there may be more to the latter two’s omissions than first thought.
The Times has reported that Te’o and Brown were in fact stood down for an altercation that occurred between the pair at a team social event. The event was ironically scheduled to foster better relationships within the team, but that appears to have backfired spectacularly.
Te’o and Brown were always teetering on the edge of the squad with neither player having an impact on England’s Six Nations campaign earlier this year. Brown didn’t take the field at all whilst Te’o managed just two minutes off the bench in the final game of England’s campaign, a draw with Scotland.
Jones has thrown the dropped players a lifeline: “Players excluded from being involved in this camp are naturally disappointed but may get another opportunity so they must be ready.”
It would be hard to imagine either Brown or Te’o being brought back into the squad, however, if the rumours behind their omissions are true. Brown missed out on Jones’ first World Cup preparation squad but was a surprise call-up in Jones’ second squad iteration.
“We are getting the balance right at the moment and we are getting through some good quality work,” Brown said upon his return.
“It’s been hard, but off the field we are getting things right, which maybe we didn’t in 2015.”
Neither Brown nor Te’o are strangers to controversy in the past. Following England’s tie with Scotland, Te’o returned to the team hotel in the early hours of the morning after a drunken night out. That matter was dealt with internally with no stand-down applied. Brown is well-known for his chirpy and confrontational nature on the field.
This will have likely be Te’o’s last opportunity to wear the red rose. He is expected to look outside of England for his rugby future.
What's with the all blacks keep playing BB at 15, is this just an ongoing experiment or they see as Mounga as first choice 10 now? And is Goodhue the best 13 you have, dont get me wrong he is a good player but first choice at 13 ?
A little bit of both. I think that the thinking is that Mounga is the better 10 but Barrett is the better player and has more room at 15, plus having two play-makers either side of a ruck.Originally Posted by buriramboy
As for Goodhue who knows. He's still young and has a long way to go and develop but so many options in midfield right now even with SBW out injured so that's probably more about getting combos going. Someone like him or Ennor are likely to be the long-term options.
And good to see ALB getting a crack as he never quite seems to get the credit he deserves.
