Yeah that's true. It's actually a different shopping concept from what Aussies are used to. But guaranteed the punters are lining up to get in there at 10.00 am opening. They are really just choosing there customer base unlike the mainstream supermarkets here

Didn't you post once that you were a shelf stacker in the UK ? Prior to you becoming Bangkok's greatest tefler?

Rather you than me cooking all that seafood BLD.

I just don't trust it unless I've seen it caught and even then I think it's overated.

Crab sticks are the exception though.

The most fake, dodgy 'seafood' of all.

Jars of pickled cockles and microwave kippers in a bag are OK once in a while also.
Not forgetting the legendary Spooons fish n chips.

Check out this Easter Basket of garlic!

Mini egg sized balls of potent garlic.

    Bugger all peeling.

There's only one thing for it....

    Curry day!!!

Today Monday the 21st of April will go down in history as a biblical curry concoction day.

It will be celebrated around the globe.

As usual suggestions and tips are always welcome.

Or they prefer not to lose money due to holiday rates set by unions.

Once again, you prove to be a moron. Do try and explain how my post was "racist". This should be fun.

Take your clueless union hate elsewhere. Costco is not unionized. The CEO and execs have explained the reasons time and again.

Nope. They feel holidays should be holidays. Non union, but they have a generous contract with step pay raises, benefits and promote from within. I worked at one for about 3 years. Great employer.

I did indeed, they are little more than legal biker gangs, organised crime, and stand over merchants. Literally.

Previously in Australia the unions were made up.of UK hardmen. That's a thing of the past now..like willy says the bikies play a big part in the corruption now.

I will make this last post on Unions and then this thread needs to get back on track.

Comparing union corruption to that of the robber barons or big corporations is utterly laughable. The talking points come from big business, and sheeple like willy swallow them hook line and sinker. It is a proven fact that nations with the highest level of union representation have higher living standards and more income equality.

It was lamb chops day at the old folks home so Senorita raided the leftovers and brought me a meals on wheels bag of chops.

I take the lamb off the bones and chop it up and then add some curry sauce and have them with rice.

I rewarded her kindly aged care with her very favourite Tom Yam with prawns, which she seems to enjoy more every time I make it.

The peas are also from the old folks home. She brings 3 or 4 bags every time so I have a job staying on top of them. But the kidney beans are from my very own shopping trolley, bought and paid for.

    Nice and simple, Looper.

I also knocked up a beef Tikka Masala the other day.

Rude not to have a bbq today with the mini heatwave here at the moment.

Mint and minced lamb kebabs, garlic mushrooms, salted and cheesey jacket potato with aoili on top accompanied by some chilli peppered and garlic infused chicken wings and a Cayenne peppered pork shoulder steak, oh and some salad..
