    That’s a harsh comparison.

^ The last time I said that, I got a slap.

I try to eat before 6pm these days on health grounds, but if you find yourself finishing up the day's jobs at 18:30 with no meal prepared and the fukking wife still at the 'Temple' for Father's Day, then emergency measures are called for.

The convection oven was made for frozen steak and kidney pies and oven chips. Add microwaved beans and disaster averted...

    Voila!

We have the same tastes in food and an uncanny connection... I should have married Anna.

    She's such easy company.

Upped my game today after yesterday's abomination...

Roast lamb with fresh homemade mint sauce, Roasties in beef dripping, creamy mash and Aunt Bessies finest YorkshirePudding all swimming in Bisto gravy. Hmmm.....

Lil Edweena is apparently swinging towards vegetarianism.

Please let it be just a phase.

Will cook up me copyrighted Spag Bol in the next few days with this *shudder* stuff.

Anyone used it or ate it before?

You're so negative on the forum recently. Go outside (if you're allowed), smell the recently cut grass and maybe shine the barbed wire a bit.

Actually made meatballs with that stuff for M'Sahib a few weeks ago. I made regular pork ones for me, though in all honesty, I would have been OK eating hers also. https://teakdoor.com/the-kitchen/961...ml#post4550602 (Dinner)

    ^ Nice!

Now that I'm home the daughter is getting reacquainted with some of her favourites. Last night was sausages, chips and peas with gravy, with even some sprouts thrown in to boot. Tonight I'm cooking her a steak so there will be no pictures... I've learnt my lesson there.

Get that cast iron pan out and check out a youtube video on how to properly use it to cook.
