Meat looks great, though the slice of beef tomato and the solitary cherry tomato look a bit incongruous. Sour cream on the potatoes?

Not a beef tomato, it is an heirloom from my garden as is the cherry, I just added those for my own consumption. Not trying to go with a restaurant presentation.

That cherry tomato looks a but lonely.
    Nevertheless, a nice meal.

Bone in ribeye. I ate it with a chimmichuri sauce, but this pic was taken sans sauce. I realise now probably I should have drizzled the sauce prior to the pic. Guess I wont win any instagram awards.

I bet it could tell some stories. Mostly about those allergic to veg.

    Beef looks good.

Looks delish Snubs. I have to say, I had my fill of excellent Beef and salmon during my recent visit to Napa. I gorged a bit too much. I haven't craved any beef sine I returned 5 days ago. But seeing the pics, will getting something on the Grill Friday.

Yeah PAG. Some like it all the time, I enjoy it on and off on my tater but it makes for good taste with REAL butter and even some bacon bits and chives.

Indeed, a favourite of mine also, was asking because it could have been cottage cheese, a not unknown addition to a baked potato. A rich cream coleslaw also works for me.

That sounds dang near perfect...It's kind of a mix between German potato salad and loaded baked potato.

Tomato is in there for the colour composition. Gay but common.

    Meat looks perfect

Tonight, a Chicken Jalfrezi, with a Matar Pulao basmati rice.

First off, frying some finely diced onion and cumin seeds for about 5 minutes.

Then adding some chopped garlic and ginger, continuing frying for another minute or so until you smell the aroma.

Then the chicken pieces go in (thighs in this case), to be coated with the base mix.

Then a few powdered spices get added, coriander, paprika, turmeric, garam masala, chilli, salt and pepper, fried for another minute or so before adding tomato puree to which some tomato paste has also been added.

At this point, the curry starts to darken in colour to a dark reddish brown, and chopped red and green peppers plus onion get added, along with a spoon of rice vinegar, soy sauce, and sriracha sauce.

Another 5 minutes in the pan, and she's done.

It was a toss up whether a splash of ordinary cream or coconut cream was going in, the ordinary won.

Couple of naan breads out of the freezer, warmed in the microwave, and topped with melted butter and garlic.

First time making this particular rice, very tasty, and went well with the Jalfrezi.

Indeed, with Indian curry, a spoon or two at the end of either full/sour cream or yoghurt, with Thai a drop of coconut milk adds some depth to the food.

My wife is now making Kanom Chet or Dim Sum and I had a 10 of them for my dinner entre last night.

She normally serves them with a black soya bean sauce but I added some Sriracha sauce to give it some spicey kick. (about half, half mixture)

I firstly put them in the microwave for 2 minutes from frozen, then covered them with cooking oil and then into the air fryer for 5 minutes on high and they come out crispy.

Perfect and now going on the menu including the mixed sauce.

    Cheers mate.

I reckon the pics will have a few possibilities, so we'll have a TEFLtastic guessing game on the dinner thread.

Well after settling back in here, time to fire up the grill again

Very nice Aus grass fed T bone

Properly spiced with a dash of salt, garlic powder, onion powder ground pepper and ground Tarragon leaves then let it rest for about 5 hours

First flip on the grill at 400 F to sear it well

Tater and Mushrooms already in process

Dinner as served. REAL butter and Fresh Sour Cream with a sash of ground pepper

    Tender cut.
