It's been hard work but I am so proud of my daughter.

She will eat just about any vegetable (to the amazement of her classmates and their parents), with the exception of spinach. And peas are her favourite!

Also, under my tutelage she has developed such a strong sense of sarcasm that it makes me wince at times. Her Asian teachers are of course putty in her hand, as are her Western teachers from across the pond. I've told her to be wary of the Brits and Aussies though because they will give it right back.

Last night we enjoyed some lamb shoulder, with sides of cheesy potato & mushrooms, and potato skins.

Late entry from Yesterday evening. Ribeye, Italian seasoned carrots and a tater with all the add ons.

I've kind of got bored with cooking lately but having a bit of cricket to watch changes all that.

We weren't having a 'duck' tonight, but a bit of 'A Lamb' to 'Cook'!

It took 'over' an hour until everything 'seamed' ready for the oven.

After cooking for a 'full length' of time, the pie was ready. I 'caught' it just in time.

    Deliciarse!

I did all this in the time it took England to get just one wicket!

    Dinner last night....

Grilled Herb crusted pork chop. Sadly got interrupted by a neighbor and forgot to take pic of the rest but it was Italian seasoned Broccoli and corn on the cob.

The making of the JP salad

1st is fresh lettuce with diced green onions

2nd is freshly cut tomatoes and some black olives

3rd is a freshy cut up avocado

4th some Fetta cheese Greek style with green olives in olive oil

Then final touch is marinated quartered artichoke hearts, with a dash of ground pepper, a splash of olive oil and some red wine vinegar.

    Dinner as served..

Fancied a curry, so grated 2 large onions, 2 inches of ginger and a small bulb of garlic, sweated off and lightly fried off my Madras curry powder and added that to 1 Kg of beef shin and chickpeas and green lentils - into the slow cooker overnight and a little while reducing on the stove.

Seeing that, I now fancy a curry. Which is a challenge. Not likely to happen, unless I get a bit creative.

I think a visit to the bright lights, the big city of Udon Thani, will bethe first step in the process.
