Went for a wee burn on me pink Fino to that duck stall.

Ol homeboy got clevered in half.

Then one half was expertly de-boned. Then all the meat sliced perfectly (Peking Duck style). 3 different sauces added. 110thb.

Might roast homeboy up later tonight to accompany an icy one.

    Taco night

Prepped all the addons. Fresh Lettuce, Tomato, Onion and black olives from the can. Danita's corn tortillas and will grate some sharp Tillamook cheddar.

Used half of that mince beef I made my hamburger with the other night with some seasonings. Enjoyed the tacos with a chilled IPA.

One thing I've found I like on my tacos is mayo...yes, there I admitted it, I add a layer of mayo to the shell before loading it up. It's yummy.

Lambs chops with carrot purée, PAG’s cheesy cauliflower (though I added a dash of truffle oil), minty peas (note what a normal serve of peas looks like, Mendy) and some boiled new potatoes.

Duly noted, but you must have boiled them a long time!

I have to ask... what is the clumpy thing at 11 O'clock (to use pipeline positioning terminology)?

I can't remember the last time I had lamb chops... they are now definitely on my list in the UK next month!

    Yup, a wholegrain mustard.

^^ why on earth would someone boil the peas a long time? ~5 mins or so is more than enough.

Edith said it's smelly, so stuck around 1/3rd of homeboy in the oven for a quick blast and taster.

    Tasty wee evening snack.

    Friday grill night...rain or not.

About the time I started the grill, rain came in.

A Beef filet in low heat after a quick sear.

Dinner as served with grilled carrots and Zucchini with olive oil and various spices and a Tater with butter, sour cream and bacon bits.

^ there is no way I could eat all of that, looks good though! I'd be happy with the jacket tater.

I woke up fancying sausage, egg and chips for dinner... so I did something about it.

First up, I sorted an extra.

    I've been here before.

It's not often we eat fried food, but you can't boil a sausage, or a black pudding for that matter.

A nice portion of microwaved peas.

    Lovely!

I wish I could say the same, but without a doubt I would eat the whole lot then be unable to drink, resulting in ruining my night.

    Looks well fine.

The nipper looks to have been badly short changed there.
    You got an egg shortage?

I bet she counts those 9 and a half chips

When I first get a black pudding I cut it into discs and freeze them separately. Just saying

No explanation given, but simply saying it's 'made the traditional way' is a bit ignorant.

However, I can tell by the massive fatty lumps that means 'the traditional English way'.

    Whatever floats yer boat!

^^ We've got loads of eggs!

She didn't want an egg or black pudding... I don't know what's wrong with her.

At least Edmond will be happy to see her eating a small meal.

Edit: ^ But what if you buy it frozen?

I would have opted for baked beans

Either let it thaw enough one time to cut it or hacksaw it into bits in one sitting, so you can grab a slice anytime without the thought of having to get on the tools.

How about a reciprocating saw? I got my eyes on one of those badboys.

I'd be amazed if you could tell the difference.

    Healthier than boiling, as well.

    Not to mention quicker.

Call me a Norverner but I think Joe's on the money here.

    Peas go with roasters.

Peas and beans both go with mash.

But peas with chips.... and black pudding?

I mean you wouldn't have peas on a Full English...

    Would you?
