Couple of comments on ol Dils Roast Beef above. Again a British thing clearly. Overcook everything just short of soccer ball leather and then add gravy to give it some flavor and allow it to be eaten and not get stuck in ones throat. Also needs some greenery on the plate. A nice Caesar style salad would go great. Shit can the frozen pea idea.

A Caesar blows fucking any shit frozen veg out of the water. The brit diet is truly hideous, can you imagine that after a shit meal like that and loads of pints they wake up and have an abomination of a breakfast with a can of beans?

Ya had to go there....good grief. ... Frozen this, canned that with over cooked meat for dinner and burnt toast and overcook processed meat in the morning. Why I never wanted to visit Europe much. Have to find cup of noodles and stay in my room.

Have you been to the states? The foods great. Fantastic actually, i enjoy brit food also but its a bit repetative , hasnt really evolved. Go on, prove me wrong ? And you cant use chitty or dill as a sort of barometor

You're wasting your time mate. As demonstrated by my "British food taking over the US" thread, where I posted a couple of pub classics, these cavemen aren't interested in anything unless it's a burnt piece of meat bigger than Trump's arse served with a plate of food drier than Gandhi's flip flop.

A jug of bisto gravy in case of emergency.



All for less than 5 shekels.

Had a rather damn fine Italian Tiramasu for desert.
