No, certainly not. Reading that now it does look callous and disrespectful so sorry for that. It wasnt intentional. I was brought up to respect my elders and thats the one trait i do love about Thai people..

As for the age pissing contest, the point i was trying to make was we will both possibly live to their grand ages if we are lucky. Although, on the other side of my family tree, those 2 grandparents and a good few of their offsprings died of cancer at a younger age than I am now

Ive always thought 70 would be a good age to go but i guess when or if i hit 69 my attitude will change

no photo but my dinner tonight was a pukka cheese and onion pasty from Tops with 2 slices of toast with peanut butter and a packet of crisps. The pasty was still frozen in the centre but that's a minor detail when you're hungry.
