It was. Missus did Tom Yam with the heads. Each to their own. Plenty in the fridge and freezer, but shrimp are never the same when reheated.

Have been having this everynight since.

Been a while since I've had a decent shrimp curry.

Off rice for a while, so served with only roti. Hit's the fecking spot, more trip to Talad Klang, Ayuthaya coming up.

Luigi that bread looks like a chapathi but then again it looks like a Rhotti Chanie.

I can make proper chaphatis which are fair better with curries and lighter on the stomach.

^ Have you tried the wholemeal ones? They are even better than the plain ones (and I think closer to Indian chapatis).

They're, er, 'convenient' and serve their purpose reasonably well.

I'm sure they don't, as items such as roti are made to be made and taken reasonably fresh - not processed, frozen, or packaged.

    Consider the source.

    Some fusion cuisine this evening.

Mrs. Luigo did a big Larb Gai, so myself did some homemade fries with larb gai poured/chucked over them.

    Bladdy delicious.

Now is Luigio's whiskey and movie time, so she's doing some ribs that she saw the recipe to during the week. Some type of short ribs fried with lemon grass, chili, garlic, kaffir leaves and shallots, and a sauce of soy, oyster and a drop of fish sauce.

Not a bad little whiskey drinking snack, if not a bit small, bless her little silk lingerie.

    Just being told now:

oil, medium heat, garlic and chili.
    Then lemon grass.
    Then the ribs.
    Put some sugar in.
Oyster sauce, soy sauce, little bit of fish sauce.
    fry for a little bit.
Add water, to the top of the ribs.
Put the lid on for 15 minutes.
remove lid, add spring onion and kaffir lime leaves.
    Put into your mouth.
