I thought I tasted the worst pizza in town last week.

    I was wrong.

^ Not in the same league...

Went to Tony's Pizza tonight to treat meself for a Friday night.

I feared the worst when I found Tony there on his own - no sign of his wife/chef, and I use that term in the loosest possible sense. Tony is a great guy but I've never suspected him of being able to cook.

Anyway, I went for the Verona calzone - I usually go for calzones as they're so much easier to carry.

I knew I was in trouble when the box started to leak before I got back to the hotel...

Sadly, the best thing about this pizza was the fancy wood effect (but non-absorbant) box.

The search for the worst pizza in town continues successfully.

Mental note. Don't let MM order the pizzas next Saturday.

A bit short on the veg, Chitty. Plenty of meat though.

She ordered pizza with pineapple... That's grounds for immediate divorce.

Also random aside, odd how all those Dukes restaurants are separate Co.'s

Never noticed that. Remember when the first one opened by Narawat bridge around 15 years ago and the expat community here lost their collective sheet over the place.

Also odd to see they have one in Lamphun.

Yeah, I was one of them.

Haven't been for years though. I think the last time was to the Promenada one with the kids few years back.

The missus is away for a few days so I am cooking for myself. Dusted off the oven gloves and had a rummage in the freezer. Did a couple of grilled (in foil) Cod loins and stir-fry veg last night. Not bad at all.

Parsley. The yellow stuff is like a mustard / pepper sauce.

Any ideas what to do with 1.25kgs of smoked salmon in a week. Got it cheap and it's near its sell by date

Gonna have a crack at salmon fettuccine
    Carbonara later, with cheddar

Salmon sandwiches for breakfast or elevenses. 200g a day should be about right.

If you've got Cheddar as well, how about salmon quiche?
