Otto Pizza from a while back...have to improvise in Thailand, used Puttenesca Sauce contains black olives, capers, chili and anchovies, added extra anchovies, prawns and mozzarella but Mrs Toot would positively not allow pineapple despite me pointing out that all pizzas have pineapple on them in the west.

Shocking calorie and sodium count - UK version above and US version below.

I'd rather have a couple of extra rashers of bacon.

    Syb,

Do you use 1/2 a can of each to average it out?

I've had no formal training, yet tonight after a skinful of beer I transformed this...

    Into this...

Healthy option with tomato and mushroom for me... straight cheese for the littlun

I don't know what to say other than I need to get meself a sandwich maker (remember no tomatoes in those things - they will burn your mouth to shreds of boiling boils and painful puss...).

But, wait a minute... upon further inspection that doesn't appear to be Ovaltine in that mug???
    Cycling should be banned!!!

No false advertising here, what you see is what you get and it's always delish.

Thai chicken soup with bread and butter to dunk tonight. With spinach and... a few peas.

And in the interests of presentation... pink for girls and blue for boys!

I note you've opted for the healthier brown bread in line with your new fitness regime.

Mendip always has the brown bread. Poor littl'un always gets the white bread.

^ Yes, I'm cutting down on the peas as part of my new regime!

Yeah... I'm aware of my daughter's preference for white bread... but it's proving a difficult habit to break! I can get her to eat peas, try some spinach, even eat a sprout. But brown bread seems a step too far... maybe its all the nuts and stuff they seem to put in. A work in progress...

Anyway, two dinner pics tonight. I've been binge watching 'The End of the F@@@ing World' in bed on Netflix tonight and got a bit peckish...

    Brown bread again...

It's still better than having pudding!

Speaking of brown bread that bought back memories for me. When I was working in Indonesia (Papua) they used to sometimes made brown bread BUT to make it brown they just added chocolate colour to the normal white bread mix so that the bread was BROWN. Tasted bloody awful.
