For all you haters on my dinner.....
it wasn't you eating it and it was delicious by the way! The rice was bit hard though. Brown rice in a rice cooker isn't always that great. More water next time.

A nice dinner of piri-piri smoked paprika turkey breast, quinoa and a nice salad with rocket, organic cherry tomatoes and Spanish olives with a nice homemade dressing of extra virgin olive oil, apple cider vinegar, herbs and dijon mustard.

It is. I only started eating quinoa recently. It's very healthy and it has a high protein content.

Those little jugs are great. For salad dressing and the olive oïl, garlic, chili mixture for pizza.

    So, where's Nigel?

Well Marmite is bang on the money , and here is the evidence of todays birthday feast.

My dear little wife took the day off work and cooked me a massaman gai , some egg fried rice , fried chicken , noodles + veg , + somtum .

She also baked my birthday cake this morn then iced it in the afternoon + put,,, "day birth happy " on the top of it .

What with that lovely meal and my card arriving yesterday for me to open today from my Thai family members this has been one fantastic day for me to remember .

Thankyou Jan you are a gem from the east and I am very lucky to have you beside me .

BTW ,,,, sorry Marmite although you guessed correctly , technically speaking you submitted an each way bet so I am afraid the odds are quartered
I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs

Happy belated bday Nigel! Looks fabulous Nat and Dillinger. I really like Couscous and is that Nan bread, Dillinger?

Expect a photo of my upcoming Korean lunch.

I've still got some oven baked bbq ribs left and I was looking for something different to do with them last night, so decided on a stir fry with Hoisin sauce.

Big jugs are better. For the 'flobberlobberlobber' factor..
