Finally found the time to make a lasagna up. It's made and will sit to get firm. Green salad and some crusty sourdough to accompany it.

Do you do your own sourdough?
Need tips as mine is disappointing.

Not bad Comrade Spunty
From a previous post in this thread (16029):
"OK, halve the peppers, dribble with a little.olive oil and in a suitable.dish, put in the oven at 200deg C. While that,s happening, finely chop an onion and a couple.of cloves of garlic then saute in a little olive oil for a few minutes. Then add the minced beef for about 5 minutes until 'browned'. Then add 1 teaspoon of chilli powder, 1 teaspoon of ground cumin, some salt and.pepper and the crushed tomatoes. Simmer for 10 minutes then remove from hotplate. Add about halfnof the cheese, which will quickly melt into the mix.
Remove the peppers from the oven and spoon the beef mix into them, topping with the other half of the cheese before putting back in the oven for 25 minutes.
That's it, simple but great."

Sunday footie desserts
Be farting like a trooper tonight.
Sat in a pub one day supping me scrumpy so bloke ordered a pickled egg, some how he swallowed it whole and it got stuck in his throat. After about 5 seconds of gagging he manged to cough it back up. He gave up on the egg and finished his beer instead.
Fascists dress in black and go around telling people what to do, whereas priests... more drink!
I don't think Jack has those issues. Bet he could suck the chrome off a bumper hitch much less down a few pickled eggs.

So what did I get for lighting the grill?
Some beans fresh out of the garden, a buttered sweet potato, a juicy ribeye smothered in onions and of course baby bellas.
I wasn't going to do this but hey, eat your heart out Jack.
Fried fish.
