Have you tried Feijoas (native to NZ, I think)... very unique taste...one of my favs.
As kids, we used to jump the fence to a local orchard - loads of awesome fruit, ripe for the picking... just had to watch out for the guard dogs that used to chase us... fun times! :bananaman:
