As planned, a couple of the crumpets toasted this morning, lots of butter and a drizzle of honey.

^ It looks like PAG's next culinary masterpiece may be a spit roast?

Just to follow on from the recent posts on crumpets, saw this advertised earlier at a new local restaurant. 89 Baht with tea or coffee, can't be much meat left on the bone at that price but in any case, it's not for me. Just butter and honey thank you, that's how we ate them as kids and still the best way.

Suppose you could deconstruct it and you have a sausages and egg breakfast with crumpets on the side for 89 baht.

^Oddly enough I think that combo would work fine on muffins but for some reason, can't get my head around using crumpets. Savoury vs sweet thing maybe..

A flour tortilla, Two scrambled eggs poured over it (don't worry if it spills over" chopped ham or the meat of your choice. and shredded Kasseri cheese . ot the cheese of your choice. I think swish cheese would also work .
    Then another tortilla on top
Fry over low flame to melt the cheese and cook the eggs without burning to tortilla. Flip over and cook some more, when you think the cheese is melted turn the flame to high to brown the tortilla.
Not a terribly new idea, but something I had not tried before, that came out really good. I'll try other variations.

    Leafy greens

    Breakfast-f8b6397b-d80f-4269-bb45-a6b8f082c868-jpg

    Add onion and cherry toms

    Breakfast-05c90306-f380-4395-bf11-9c144662167b-jpg

Add half a cob of corn and some water cress

    Breakfast-1585eda5-9709-40de-8c72-cd6ee06ab4b1-jpg

Throw it all in a blender.

    Breakfast-ba49650b-f5dc-4965-9c67-30c6e3b138c0-jpg

    Then watch as nothing happens.

Throw in half a cup of water, successfully blend.

Taste, add a pinch of salt and some hot chili mayo.

    Breakfast-52550f47-b637-4c04-b194-1fb99b9d4b61-jpeg

Result. Quite tasty, easy, less condiments, healthy.

Obviously I just used what I had, but I will add some lime and ginger next time.

Not that hot to be honest but blowing my own head off with a paint-stripper sauce on a breakfast toastie doesn't make much sense, where as the milder burn and garlic flavour of this works perfectly. And yeah they're moorish, a very tasty combo.

I do like my tabasco, but have found that I'm more swayed towards Frank's hot sauce. And if you use the Frank's Buffalo Wings sauce you can make your food more saucy as you can apply it pretty thick to the safe effect as sprinkling on the normal one, same like tabasco.

Can get Frank's in Lotus's's's's now. Yet to try it in a Bloody Mary.

Franks hot sauce? I have a bottle and put that shit on everything
Haven't tried their Buffalo sauce, will have a look for it though.

Your healthy smoothie above looks very good, I've recently acquired a Magic Bullet blender that might be perfect for making something similar.
