Needs must tho. I was rallying around the muddy car park at Lanta Bike Week with all the kids in the tray. They were absolutely loving it.

I simply cannot get this image out of my head, and had to go into bat for the humble pork chop to make things right
    Breakfast-20220226_014116-jpg

Will start with a chop that's been butchered by someone who used the correct tools for the job, chainsaws or Viking axes not required.
    Breakfast-20220308_092235-jpg

Couple of eggs, dead horse, lots of pepper ('cause I like pepper and it pisses people off ), and a Berocca performance on the side of a low-carb high protein brekkie.
    Breakfast-20220308_092334-jpg

And just to show properly cooked pork chops aren't as dry as a Nun's nasty

Good amount of pepper for me. It needs some Tabasco sauce, is what it needs.

I usually do not visit the breakfast thread as I do not eat breakfast but browsed the last few pages and wonder are you guys a bunch of fat bastards? . I mean Ham and Eggs, Pork chop and eggs, big lunches and then the dinner thread is loaded with incredible food. I couldn't imagine eating that much food.

Yeah I have always heard that. I am exact opposite, If I eat breakfast I feel lethargic. I could never eat what some of you guys do. It looks damn good but I'd fall a sleep. Just a nice glass of OJ and a Cappuccino and I am good to lunch. I do not eat from about 6pm to about noon the next day. Been doing that since I was a little boy.

Salad to offset all the meat I’ve been eating lately.

That hot mayo really has a kick to it.

Pretty much same. 3 squares a day is brutal. Usually on holiday I go to have bfast with wife. Still eat light but skip lunch. Prefer a nice dinner

I think this comes from a time when people at much smaller portions and were very active working in the fields and such.

1 big meal for me each day (breakfast today) and 1 smaller meal, and if there's any snacking it'll typically be fruit.

Stumpy I don't know if you even realize it but by not eating from 18:00 to midday you're doing what's called 18-6 intermittent fasting, it's a very popular eating pattern to not have to worry about calories consumed (within reason) but still maintain or lose weight. Add some exercise + keto, and it's probably the fastest way to lose weight.

Yeah it's Funny HW, I saw that hit the mainstream a few years back and I laughed as I have done it naturally for years. Why my weight seldom changes. I mean age has caught up to me a bit I am very self aware on portion sizes and when to eat. My recent comprehensive physical yielded great results. I exercise quite a bit and now average 14, 526 steps a day every day so I am very active.

Yeah I agree Snubs. Our society has changed. People exercise and do less physical activity and eat way way too much.

I have slowed my eating down quite a bit after I hit 50.
