Tea Tarek (pulled), yes bloody good, Thai stuff dont come near
when in Malysia tends to be curry 3 times a day for me, with an occasional Rendang. Their Cantonese stuff is good as well
But for me only for dinner. Out on Guersey Drive or a harder to find neighborhood food court. But Roti Canai and a curry or Rendang for lunch. Just so many great places.
I found a place I have never found again that did a beef biriyani with the beef seasoned with the Rendang spices. A mistake for sure.
We're going off topic here, but for good Nasi Kandar (Indian Muslim, biryani etc) in Penang if you're in town, try Line Clear.
For banana leaf curries, Veloo Villas in Little India (they have 2 branches with another on the way to the airport).
For a bit more of a restaurant feel, Sri Ananda Bahwan in Tanjung Bungah on the way to Batu Ferringhi (the butter chicken is unbelievably good). There are other branches, but this is the best and they sell beer.
who can resist minimal effort for breakie, 20 seconds of radiation and its just like it wasn't last night.
It's basically cheese on toast really, innit?
It is and invented by the Welsh but we know there's loads of ignorami on here won't accept that.![]()

The Story of the Sandwich - HISTORY
What are you talking about?
It is said that people have been eating flatbreads with toppings etc for hundreds of years but, clearly, it wasn't until we English created the sandwich (bread, meat, etc) that the thing was refined. Those Neapolitans should give us more credit!
Along with curry, pizza is yet another quintessentially British food. Can we at least agree on this?![]()
Kebab inside a pizza

^I'm both horrified and fascinated at the same time![]()
^No it's not my pic because we can't get them here. But the pic was in one of the local food groups here recently and it's not just me hoping one of the hundred or so pizza joints around town has a go at making them, I think they'd be close to perfect as drunk food.
