In an attempt to flush my body of covid, and with no plans to venture too far From the cludgie, I decided to indulge in the world’s hottest instant ramen noodles, as previously featured on this very board.

added some garlic, onions and chicken stock, to soften the blow.

I don't think I have one any more.

That detox might be second only to Agent Picolax itself.

Early lunch/late breakfast, but there's always a time of day for beans on toast, isn't there?

    Lunch ... the second course-beans-jpg

I made a little cheddar cheesy beany portion for snubs too, but I wasn't sure if he wanted brown sauce with it. Are you a HP man, snubby?

The sarnie- another Great British export. We invented beans too, didn't we?

^^ A fork and spoon to eat beans on toast? You animal.

A lovely granite worktop, mind you.

Yesterday I thoroughly immersed myself in Thai culture during my first day of freedom in Bangkok since receiving my Covid negative result in the morning.

Today I awoke to a hotel room with no less than 15 empty bottles of Leo, and half my duty free Glenlivet seemed to have disappeared. I find it somewhat frustrating that I have little memory of what are probably my most enjoyable days... but life goes on.

Today for lunch I continued my foray into Thai culture with my very favourite, a Larb Moo.

Money shot... I just love the stuff... it's the Thai version of steak and kidney pie.

And a take-away to boot. Fried Larb moo balls for me tonight!

But all said and done, I'm looking forward to getting home tomorrow and eating some traditional fare. I'm hoping for a sausage casserole tomorrow night!

And that's proper English pork sausages... none of this Isaan nonsense!

I do really like the fried larb moo balls, great with a cold one.

^He's carrying on like typical Oilfield trash that's just landed in Bangkok who haven't had a leg-over or beer for a month or two. Oh wait

The LB thing is all a bit suss though but to be fair the signs were there (Geologist, Jesus sandals )

Rib-eye and 'shroom sandwich. You'll just have to believe me on the sandwich part because after putting it together by hand it went straight down the hatch Did manage a pre-assembly gynaecologist shot though.

Thanks for the offer, but I think I will politely pass.

Not a thing in the states, I think the closest we have is A1 sauce, but I do not like that myself. I use Tabasco sauce.

Nope. You know full well where you got your beans...

A view of the Nile and a couple of beers the other day with a few snacks (fried calimari, sausages, meat sambousek, tahini dip and bread).

    Anywhere but Cairo.

You see plenty of kids swimming in and around Luxor and Aswan, where the water is crystal clear, but a lot of people throw their shit everywhere here. It reminds me of the river and riverside in Phnom Penh (although I swam there when I was pissed up ).

Nice to know that there are some spots that are not polluted.

So long as you didn't find a condom hanging out of your rear and pubic hairs stuck between your teeth you'll be fine.
