3 plates for a tenner at Spoooons today..
Washed down with a lime cordial and sparkling water..
Almost like being on holiday in Spain, Mexico, Thailand or Buxton.
Shalom
had to drop of a fridge and noticed a small jap looking outlet and as i was peckish had a lovely bowl of ramen, with garake chicken on a stick plus a coke for $16 bucks not bad for oz at all, lovely filipina staff serving it up to.

my Tagalogs not too bad from years of living there and working there when the Mineral exploration strategy called BLD to distant lands , mostly Mongering though. it seems to all come back to me when i hear there cute accents , i saw that one bird liked what she saw and told her mate oi super gwapo which kinda made me blush. maybe its like being in pattaya and being endlessly called a hansum man? who knows ? who cares

Thank God that a little corner of Isaan has been colonised by an Englishman.
A lunch earlier this week that I put together myself!
Compare that to yesterday's Isaan lunch... which seemed to be some kind of a deep fried, whole baby fish fritter.
I still have a fish bone wedged under a molar right at the back of me mouth and may have to go back to the dentist again today.

Sucking and swallowing Soggy bread is supposed to free up pesky fish bones in the mouth or throat.
That pie and beans looks superb.
You've inspired for tomorrow's lunch.
The anticipation is unbearable.
'Proud' may be a bit strong.
I nearly sat the pies on a bed of mushy peas, a 'floater' I believe they call it in Aussie. But the daughter wanted beans, and I'm running low on mushy peas.
By the way, try Daddies Sauce instead of HP, you won't be disappointed.
Meat and potato pies and Daddies Sauce stocked in Korat Chef!
