The thing about Beck is that he's paid to spout this nonsense, paid very well at that I assume. It puts a bit of perspective on it at least.

However there are posters in this forum who echo his dribble for free.

It's a brilliantly simple business plan really:

1. Find a market that is ready, willing and able to be fleeced and who want their prejudices and bigotry validated;

Fox News dedicates about 5% of an hour to actual news. The rest of the hour is talk which is definitely slanted. They are going all out to accuse Obama of everything wrong in the world; meanwhile Fox has given up in their search for WMDs.

By the way, they are accusing the NYC bomber guy who loaded a car up with propane etc as 'trying to use a WMD' I guess if a few propane tanks, a few shotgun rounds and gasoline make a 'WMD' then there were WMDs in Iraq. In fact, most people who own handguns and have gas grills also have parts for WMDs in their homes. Just amazing that WMD is used the way it is for the NYC guy. I guess now the gov't has something to arrest anyone with. Got a gas grill, hell you got parts for a WMD!

Olbermann I can't watch as he is just too blustery and full of himself for me, but Maddow is pretty damn smart imho. She is always courteous when she has somebody with an opposing point of view on her show and she seems to research her stuff quite thoroughly.

She is also quick to make a retraction if she gets something wrong, what's the last time Hannity or Beck retracted one of their hysterical lies after being called on them?

Nancy Pelosi has made Glenn Beck vomit — or at least pretend to.
Beck pretended to heave on his radio show Tuesday as audio of Pelosi speaking played in the background.

As Pelosi spoke, Beck had his head in a garbage can and threw water into the can to simulate vomiting during the Pelosi audio.

"Good thing I have universal health care," Beck joked.
