I read a variety of news media everyday, Chass. Everything written or spoken is tilted to fit each outlet's agenda, but much moreso for the lefties. It's time to write a book on how the libbie slave-owners transformed themselves into libbie welfare providers, thus making blacks slaves to them still.
Since they took on quality editors and credible journalists, it has become one of the most objective news media available on any network.
I agree it used to be used as a mouthpiece for terrorist organisations, but not any more. it is now a serious and balanced news programme, better even than the BBC for lack of bias.
Try it BM, you might be pleasantly surpried, i know i was.
Heart of Gold and a Knob of butter.
I try to be objective in my media appraisals, and Beck is just a lightweight, shiny, right wing snake oil salesman as far as i am concerned. That is just my opinion of course.
I can't recall any left wing broadcast news media that are global in status or coverage, can you?
Fox is further to the right than Mussolini.

Right...how many folks overseas watch MSNBC? And, are familiar with the likes of Keith Olbermann & Rachel Maddow?![]()
^ and ^^.
Maddow and Olberman are available on the internet, although I don't watch them. As for international news, I think CNN is very shallow and doesn't delve deeply into issues.
I think this is in large part, because it's TV. K.I.S.S - keep it simple
............
Maddow is the best of the bunch, IMO. Her pieces are well researched and clear, and she's not afraid to take on the opposition face to face. I'm looking forward to see what Ammanpor (sp) does with the Sunday talkie on ABC.

Well, at least you didn't cite Chris Matthews as a source of objective 'news'. That idiot is on his seventh or eighth pair or presidential knee-pads. Matthews was apoplectic when Rush Limbaugh began referring to "the Obama Regime."
Chris Matthews appeared deeply troubled by the word. "I've never seen language like this in the American press," he said, "referring to an elected representative government, elected in a totally fair, democratic, American election -- we will have another one in November, we'll have another one for president in a couple years -- fair, free, and wonderful democracy we have in this country.... We know that word, 'regime.' It was used by George Bush, 'regime change.' You go to war with regimes. Regimes are tyrannies. They're juntas. They're military coups. The use of the word 'regime' in American political parlance is unacceptable.Glenn Beck did a little fact-checking. How often did the press refer to "the Bush Regime?" Oh, only somewhere north of 6,000 times.
"The term "regime" was used 6,500 times to refer to the Bush Administration since January 20, 2001. The host (Joe Klein) was talking to (Chris Matthews) used the term "regime" to describe Bush and Heilemann himself used regime to describe the Obama Administration at least four times. So, I'm trying to figure out how they can use the word regime and it's not a problem and Rush uses it."

Byron York did a count and claims the actual number is 6,729.
The media seem to be playing this childish little game that no one ever criticized a president until Obama was elected and the only people that play hardball politics are Republicans. The detachment from reality is phenomenal, but that's what happens when you stop being a news organization and start being a PR firm for the Democrat party; a party that is only concerned about "civility" when they are the ones in power.

Heh...that's at least 2 millon more in April that have watched Anderson Cooper or Keith Olberman tho...![]()

I love how folks use graphs, charts and statistics to create what at first glance is a massive loss or failure. If the left axis on this chart was a scale of 0 to 10 mil, there would hardly be a dent in the changes. I'm sure there are lefty charts that show the MSNBC hate-spitters' viewing audiences with a left axis that goes from 0 to 1,000, with the bars touching the top of the box, thus indicating they are all at the top of the charts.
Nice try, Slack, but no cigars.![]()

Sorry Jet, but an 800K drop in viewers in 1 quarter is a big deal... Not even mentioning the downward trend... Reminds me of the NYSE in the 3rd quarter of 2008...
Perhaps Glenn should start crying on-air again to reach the hearts & minds of his core viewers...

^ OK. I wonder how many folks watch him and other news on the Net like I do. I agree that he is a bit wonky lately and often do not watch all of his shows.

^ Meh, I've seen Pelosi work up her tear ducts when she was equating the alleged racist hurls by tea partyers to abuses in San Francisco with civil rights movements. *sob*
And Chass, you would do well to address the issues rather than solely making insulting remarks to other posters. You're as tedious and mundane as hatter was.
Alraedy addressed the issues in previous posts. Trouble is Jet, you only listen when you are talking, so you miss the most pertinent part of the debate.
1% of morons listen to Fox. You admit to being one of them, and a big fan of mr smoke and mirrors Beck.
You are a minority of a minor insignificant group. Doesn't mean you are wrong, just gullible.
Ya just can't educate pork no matter how hard you try.

Seen it or seen claims of it on stormfront and freerepublic? Linkypoo?Originally Posted by Jet Gorgon
