One day after two ACORN officials in Baltimore were fired for offering to help a man and woman posing as a pimp and prostitute to engage in child prostitution and a series of tax crimes, another secretly shot videotape has surfaced that shows the same couple getting similar advice from ACORN officers in Washington.

The newly released videotape, shot on July 25, shows ACORN staffers explaining to the pair how they can hide the woman's professed work — prostitution — and get a loan that will help them establish a brothel.

James O'Keefe, a 25-year-old independent filmmaker, posed as the pimp while visiting the ACORN office, accompanied by 20-year-old Hannah Giles, who posed as the prostitute. On a videotape provided to FOXNews.com, they are seen receiving guidance to establish the woman as the sole proprietor of a bogus company to mask the nature of her business.

"She's not going to put on (the loan application) that she's doing prostitution … she doesn't have to," the ACORN staffer says. "You don't have to sit back and tell people what you do."

The ACORN staffer is heard suggesting that O'Keefe can purchase a house, and as the landlord, if he is ever questioned by authorities, he can say he was unaware of the illegal business going on inside.

As long as Glenn Beck is on the air, these scum will be exposed...

Oh, this just in:
The Census Director has sent a letter to the National Headquarters of ACORN notifying the group that the Census Bureau is severing all ties with the community organizing group for all work having to do with the 2010 census. ACORN had previously been tapped to help with low level data gathering. A copy of the Director's letter has been sent to Congress and relevant committees, as well as ACORN.
This latest news comes as two more ACORN officials were fired Friday after a second video surfaced showing staffers in the community organizers' Washington office offering to help a man and woman posing as a pimp and prostitute acquire illegal home loans that would help them set up a brothel.

The group's leaders said Friday they were "appalled and angry" at what their staffers had done, but insisted the videos were part of a political "smear" campaign and not representative of the institution as a whole.

It's still a Q to me whether this is a setup in terms of the camera vid date of 2005. Nevertheless, ACORN has acquiesced on it's own and fired all four workers (self confession right there) and the Census Bureau has fired ACORN.

I'm not 'defending' Acorn at all- well, I defend their existence, they have a right to be there. But I'll say this, hopefully symptomatic of something.

Acorn is an interest/lobby group for the poor and low income. Employer and professional associations are interest groups for the privileged and high income.

Now, when Acorn (or more accurately some of it's miscreant representatives) screws up, it's all righteous indignation and 'I told you so'. When a privileged interest group screws up- be it price fixing, misleading consumer information or whatever- it's a shrug of the shoulders and a slap on the wrist- usually a fine. Like it's basically expected.

Some hypocricy there. We're well trained puppies when it comes down to it.

As for Glen Beck (back on topic) have you noticed a not so subtle shift in his positioning? A while back, he was an 'out there' Survivalist- stockpile baked beans and guns for the coming Holocaust and all that. Now, he's a lowbrow Murdoch Pitbull- publicising Fox/ Murdochs political agenda.

No doubt he's laughing all the way to the bank, but Glen Beck Sucks!

The advertising boycott of Glenn Beck has cost the controversial host over half of his estimated advertising revenue since it was launched by ColorOfChange.org a month ago. This according to data analyzed from industry sources.

Estimated advertising revenue [the total amount of advertising money being spent during a block of commercial time for a program] was collected on a week-by-week basis for a period of two months. According to the data collected, the amount of money spent by national advertisers on Beck's program per week was at its highest at approximately $1,060,000, for the week ending August 2, 2009. ColorOfChange.org launched their campaign at the end of that week and since then, 62 advertisers have distanced themselves from Beck. Data collected for the week ending September 6, 2009 shows Beck's estimated ad revenue at $492,000, equal to a loss of $568,000.

"Fox News Channel has consistently claimed they haven't lost revenue as advertisers abandon Glenn Beck, but the numbers prove otherwise," said James Rucker, Executive Director of ColorOfChange.org. "Fox News Channel has a limited amount of ad positions. If 62 companies refuse to run ads on two of their 24 hours of programming, they are losing inventory. No matter how high Beck's ratings have been lately, advertisers still see Beck as toxic and don't want him associated with their brands. There is no way that Fox News Channel is making the money they should be making with Glenn Beck."
