This is the key. Many retired generals and other officials warned of this if he was reelected, sadly the media here in the US is in many ways dominated by ruzzian propaganda talking points, both the far right and far left in the US get their marching orders from the kremlin.

his binning of liberal wokeness, the race to net zero, edi and transgender madness however should be welcomed by sensible people worldwide.

Your opinions always stimulating but was is edi, any relation to Eddo Cheddar in the Men-Dip mounts of Somerset or the tasty, beloved edamame , do share please.

EDI, or Electronic Data Interchange, in the USA is the automated exchange of business documents between organizations, replacing traditional methods like paper and email with secure, automated processes.235 It is widely used for transactions such as invoices, purchase orders, and shipping forms, and it is based on standards such as ANSI ASC X12, which is predominant in North America.24 GSA Global Supply, for instance, prefers EDI for conducting business transactions as it enables full electronic processing of all ordering activities.

Only if you're a complete fucking moron.

Next you'll be saying it's impossible to understand why he has lifted cybersecurity operations and information gathering against Russia, and why he's looking at lifting sanctions on Russia.

However for the super power to side with Putin, Hungary,Slovakia and outright abusers is a tragedy for all anathema to civilized behaviour where concern for our environment and neighbour are valued.

Let us hope USA can deliver a better POTUS in 28, Vance looks like more of the same.
Trump is transparent. He doesn't hide who he is. Americans chose him because they considered the Democrats to be worse. They chose a Republican president; a republican Senate; and a Republican house of representatives. Some or many of the Republican candidates were at best mediocre. Overwhelmingly so. They know Trump is greedy and arrogant. And full of bullshit and over the hill. He doesn't hide this. They chose Trump and Team Trump. Don't white wash the Democrats. They only offered half-assed support to Ukraine. It was pathetic. They didn't give a fxck about young Ukrainian men fighting the Russians. They hate men. They're anti-men. Misandrists. Even anti-American men. American men understood this and prefer the incompetent Trump.

Get real. Biden never properly supported Ukraine. He was at best 50% in. The Democrats are losers. They had an easy win in front of them and chose defeat.

Thank Buddha Roosevelt was a way tougher president. If not, we'd be posting in Japanese. The Democrats were and are loathsome. They're pussies. They need to reinvent themselves.

The democrats have totally misread the room with their overly woke bullshit, pronouns and obsession with transgenders, and they've been easy meat for the Russian social media bot networks.

But rather than do what they should be doing, which is just shutting up and voting where they can, they chose to sit in Congress and wave cretinous fucking paddles around like a bunch of spoilt children.

    They just looked stupid.

Cool, you're not a Democratic nutter. Trump is an incompetent boofhead who should have been easy to slap down but the Democrats were too keen on cunnilingus with woke America.

america is (presently) the worlds most powerful country. and means it has obligations and complications that other countries don't have, and of course it has to balance these with what is best for itself.
russia is not america's biggest threat, but russia does align itself with 2 that are, china and iran.
america needs to retain a relationship with russia that is not 100% adversarial, as it will need favours from russia to help in containing or destroying iran, and as a wedge with china.

and next of course on trumps "to do" list is iran,

    It is called realpolitik.

Trump's job is to advance the interests of Americans. It isn't his job to advance the interests of Europeans. I understand Germans have 6 weeks of vacation a year and Americans 2 weeks. Trump was elected to flip that. He's entitled to say fxck Europe. Europe is rich and can pay for their own defense. This should have been done decades ago. I'm not saying Trump has played his hand perfectly. He should have given more notice but the rest of the dumb world (including me) assumed a woke misandrist Biden Vice President who couldn't even be fxcked talking to men was going to win.

All this "they should be paying for it themselves" is just bullshit.

America spends all this money (out of its obscene military budget) purely to protect its own interests; USAID it uses to garner new ones.

Ditching USAID means the chinkies will be in there waving their chequebooks around and in no time Lesbian Lesotho will be voting their way anytime anything comes up in the UN and it's something the US wants.

And imagine if the US pulled out of the Middle East.

Plus of course all these countries the US no longer "protects" will be rushing to get nukes, and the US will start remembering that, thanks to the orange turd, it hasn't got any friends left...

As much as I dislike the short term tactically hostile US rhetoric towards the brave Ukrainians, if this is the catalyst that forces Europe to get real with its defence spending, coordination, and mobilisation, it could prove to be strategically decisive in the long term for the cause of western liberal democracy.

USAID was the most effective use of soft power in the world. Since WW2, America has used the carrot and stick approach as a centerpiece of its foreign policy. Dismantling USAID is more than just criminal, it is treasonous.

The US was $820Bn, this year they've asked for almost $850Bn.

So yes, slightly more obscene than the chinkies' $246Bn.
