    One last one

    Free Russia Channel

Sounds like very mild propaganda; his subscribers are more wild, I think.

    PS

I shall pause my 'project balancing the news', for simple reasons:

I checked on the Victoria Nuland website, The Institute for the Study of War, and their "reporting" is very similar to my Kremlin Cum Guzzler sites.

So what's the point, if they agree ?

Hope that BSnaps can provide some of his controversial fatamorganas.

    Over to you

It's always good to have two sides, Sabang did a good job but appears to have got bored.

General Snubbles has the Western viewpoint and putin in his crossbars.

    Keep on keeping on Helge!

    Edit : Crosshairs not crossbars...

Unless putin went for a ride on Snubs Raleigh Chopper, then that would explain a lot.

It's human nature to be drawn to groups who agree with us so no surprise we find endless sources posting "truth" as they see it.

The notion there is truth via Google is an illusion. You want truth get up off your ass and go to the front lines. Watch, listen, talk to folks and you will come far closer to the truth than visiting web sites that clearly have group bias.

None the less, carry on with the walls of text from your fav websites. Always worth a read.

You are just providing a different version of the 'truth'. Just because you believe it doesn't mean everyone else has to.

We won't really know until the counteroffensive has finished whether it is successful or not and at what cost. Even success is subjective, both can claim it by adjusting the terms since the end goal was never fully declared.

There is no truth to it. It is ruzzian propaganda MO that when something bad happens to them, they quickly come out and say that they did it to the Ukrainians, and that is exactly what Helge posted in this thread. Claims that the ruzzians "massacred" the Ukrainians, when in fact it was a ruzzian battalion that was wiped out by the Ukrainians. Something that has been verified over and over again.

    Complete fantasy and nothing more.

    I agree the spin Drs
However Zelensky seems to wish to reclaim all lost territory in the the 4 puppet states, Luhansk, Donestsk, Zaporizhye , Kerson , this may be doable at considerable cost and loss of life/troops with sufficient moral , financial and materiel support. Aside from some specialist and volunteer mercenaries he has a far smaller pool of military age people available .

Crimea with its historic and naval significance will be moot and while the Ukrainians may cut it off and make Kursk bridges unusable it will be a hurdle to a lasting peace.

The barely disguised and I think correct goal is regime change in Russia, not merely remove Putin, this however is tricky as imposing on a cornered bully with nuclear weapons with tacit support from the BRICS will need a lot of diplomacy and finesse.

Someone like Alex Navalny should he survive could lead a democratic Russia.
NATO has t fight by proxy and try keep TransdniestraBelarus/Kalingrad muted , get Swedes in and possibly Moldova

With Russian leaders "willing" to accept high casualties a victory will not be easy.
The role of Turkey and China will be crucial IMHO

The end of Putin via overthrow assassination or natural ciases may not resolve this and Prizhorgin would be no better.
Unlike those who seem certain about this dynamic situation I may well be wrong and as my dear wife and may point out here usually am

I wouldn't use the word 'fantasy', but you are right. Most people are in the "dark" when it comes to what is going on and what has happened.

Can you trust any ..information ?

On front lines of Ukraine counteroffensive, soldiers pay heavy price

ANDRIIVKA, Ukraine — The men of Ukraine’s 37th Brigade were freshly trained and armed with Western-supplied weapons, tasked with an initial push through Russian-occupied territory in the early days of a long-awaited counteroffensive.

They would pay a heavy price.

Within 20 minutes of their June 5 advance south of Velyka Novosilka, in the southeast Donetsk region, mortars exploded all around them, soldiers said. A 30-year-old soldier known as Lumberjack saw two of the men in his vehicle bleeding heavily; one lost an arm as he cried out for his family. Lumberjack crawled into a crater, but the shrapnel from a mortar went through the soil and pierced his shoulder.

“We were left there in the field, without tanks or heavy armor,” said Lumberjack, who spoke to The Washington Post on the condition that he be identified only by his call sign because he was not authorized to discuss the battle. “We were shelled with mortars from three sides. We couldn’t do anything.”

There were fewer than 50 men in the unit, he said, and 30 did not return — they were killed, wounded or captured by the enemy. Five of the unit’s armored vehicles were destroyed within the first hour.

The 37th’s reconnaissance push would eventually help other Ukrainian brigades liberate four villages in Donetsk, one of the counteroffensive’s key starting points, securing an early triumph for Kyiv during the most widely anticipated operation of the war.

Survivors from the 37th, which included some American volunteer fighters and soldiers trained in Europe, described their ordeal as the tip of the spear in Ukraine’s counteroffensive.

Their accounts offered one of the first real glimpses into the brutal fighting on a new front this month, far removed from the antiseptic claims of advances and retreats by officials on both sides of the conflict. And the battalion’s heavy losses foreshadow the terrible cost that Ukraine’s leaders are prepared to pay — and believe they must pay — to oust the Russian invaders and reclaim their lost territory.

The tip of the spear is always gonna bear the brunt of any initial first impact.

30 out of 50 , could have been worse.
Still more unnecessary wastage of life thanks to Herr Putin.

Whilst there is certainly propaganda and misinformation from the West/Ukraine, the Russian news about the war is just pure lies and fabrication at every level - they are not equal or comparable.

If this thread gets filled with endless Russian "war news pieces" and ridiculous Putin propaganda then it'll just become worthless.

I'm not saying that every Western/Ukranian piece is 100% accurate. But, in this war, there are not two equal sides to every story, and posting the mad Empire buildering mass murderers propaganda pieces isn't impressive at all, imho.
