That was way back in 2014. Ukraine's army is completely different now, as it has been being trained by NATO since then. It is now more like the US or British armies than the Soviet model it was using back then. Crimea was taken unopposed by Russia's little green men.
When I am talking about the Russians getting their teeth kicked in, I am talking about what has been happening over the last year. For the last six months, all Russia has done is retreat.
Oh, so huge Ukraine was defending against tiny Donbas? You do have a point though- both Minsk Accords (which were dishonorably broken, and it turns out this was the disgraceful intention all along) were arrived at to pull Ukraine's ass out of the fire. Never trust the Kiev government was the lesson learned.
Too late for backpedalling and trying to rewrite history- Angela Merkel and several other senior EU flunkies already confirmed it.
You'll be saying the US didn't lose in Afghanistan, Iraq & Vietnam next.![]()
In the second half of January, Pakistan will send 159 containers of ammunition to Ukraine, mainly 155-mm shells, charges and fuses for them. The cargo will be delivered to Gdansk aboard the Vesuvius container ship.
This means that free stocks of 155-mm shells in NATO countries are already running out, which forces them to resort to their purchases in third countries.

Now you are just stupid.
Both Merkel and Hollande have admitted to it.
Ukrainian soldiers defending Soledar with 'honour', Wagner chief says
Ukrainian troops are defending the eastern city of Soledar with "honour", the head of Russian private military company Wagner has said.
In a statement on Telegram which contrasts in tone to those we are used to hearing from the Russian side, Yevgeny Prigozhin added that "the hardest, bloodiest battles are being fought" for the city, which is a few miles from Bakhmut in the Donbas region.
The Wagner founder, who is an ally of President Vladimir Putin, also said Wagner forces were "exclusively" working to capture Soledar.
As we have been reporting through the morning, Soledar - which is a key target for Russian forces - is the scene of some of the heaviest fighting in the war currently and Mr Prigozhin has been trying to capture the city and Bakhmut for months.
Ukrainian troops managed to repel an earlier attempt to take Soledar but a large number of pro-Russian Wagner mercenary soldiers quickly returned this week.
Ukrainian deputy defence minister Hanna Malyar said on Telegram yesterday: "The enemy literally step over the corpses of their own soldiers, using massed artillery, MLRS systems and mortars."
Some statistics here
Russia faces internal 'break up' within 10 years, experts say
Russia as we know it may not survive the coming decade, according to a new survey conducted by the Atlantic Council.
A poll of 167 experts, who shared their insights on what geopolitics, social and political movements and other domains could look like in 10 years' time, have told the thinktank that Russia is at risk of not surviving in the state it currently is.
The survey found 40% of experts predicted Russia would break up internally by 2033 "because of revolution, civil war, political disintegration, or some other reason".
Meanwhile, 46% of respondents expected Russia to either become a "failed state" in a decade or "break up" by 2033.
The Atlantic Council also said that Europeans were particularly pessimistic about Russia breaking up, with 49% of them predicting such an event.

Atlantic Council - WikipediaIn July 2019, Russia said the activities of the Atlantic Council pose a threat to the foundations of its constitutional system and the security of the Russian Federation. Russia added the Atlantic Council to its list of "undesirable" organizations, preventing it from operating within Russia.
Dream on, Atlantacists. I'm afraid the future will be determined by the Pacifists.
Wasn't Hitler half Jewish?
He certainly didn't fit the type of a typical Aryan
I heard his Jewish biological father pissed off after he'd put the money on the bed side table of his mother.
Hence his pathological hatred for anything and anyone.
It didn't help that he was 4ft tall and was bullied at school for being a short arse and crap artist.
It wasn't all bad, his infamous SS were voted best dressed men of the 20th century according to FHM magazine.
Shalom

The jailing and punishment of prisoners in the USA is an industry.
Nowhere on the planet does any country have as many incarcerated people.
