    Again, yawwwn-

In all, $31.4 billion went to the United Kingdom, $11.3 billion to the Soviet Union,

Once again, proving to be dumber than dogshit. That was a massive amount of money back then, but it hardly tells the full story.

By the end of June 1944 the United States had sent to the Soviets under lend-lease more than 11,000 planes; over 6,000 tanks and tank destroyers; and 300,000 trucks and other military vehicles.
We have also sent to the Soviets about 350 locomotives, 1,640 flat cars, and close to half a million tons of rails and accessories, axles, and wheels, all for the improvement of the railways feeding the Red armies on the Eastern Front. For the armies themselves we have sent miles of field telephone wire, thousands of telephones, and many thousands of tons of explosives. And we have also provided machine tools and other equipment to help the Russians manufacture their own planes, guns, shells, and bombs.
We have supplied our allies with large quantities of food. The Soviet Union alone has received some 3,000,000 tons. Lend-lease has contributed about 10 percent of Britain’s over-all food supply.
How Much of What Goods Have We Sent to Which Allies? | AHA

Not only would have Russia lost the war, it would have been decimated by the Nazis without US lend lease. It is also ironic that the same program that saved the Soviet Union in WW2 will be now used against them to liberate Ukraine.

You have won the prize for biggest imbecile on TD today.

    There is no doubt that he has a self humiliation fetish. I have said it before, and I will say it again;

There is no way that someone can say so many idiotic things unless he was clearly desiring to be abused as a poster. It really is that clear at this point.

It is a clear testimony to the fact that he is a useful idiot who just regurgitates the crap he reads on the propaganda sites he lives on. Most of the clowns over in those fever swamps are as clueless as he is, hence the susceptibility to dogma and propaganda.

    Russia Resumes Ukraine Grain Deal

Russia said on Wednesday it would resume its participation in a deal to free up vital grain exports from war-torn Ukraine after suspending it over the weekend in a move that had threatened to exacerbate hunger across the world.

The Russian defense ministry said it had received written guarantees from Kyiv not to use the Black Sea grain corridor for military operations against Russia.

"The Russian Federation considers that the guarantees received at the moment appear sufficient, and resumes the implementation of the agreement," the ministry statement said.

Damn good news. At least they are willing to talk.

    Let the negotiations begin.

I think there are going to be losses of territory on the Ukraine side. If it becomes a war of attrition then Russia will win. Turkey has suddenly become more of an international player.

Says the flag waving monkey who humiliates and denigrates himself on a daily basis.
Says one of TD's most prolific Shitposters, who has never even sent foot in Thailand- and hardly in Asia. Geddalife.
Your lack of intellect and education is readily apparent- you are in fact the very definition of a 'useful idiot'.

Concerning one of your more idiotic lowbrow catchcries "Putin is having his ass handed to him on a plate" well guess what- he isn't. Has that finally began to sink through?

No so sure about sweet but it does show that even someone who was raised and suffered under the Soviet system saw that Europe would be a lot better off with Russia as a partner instead of an enemy. Raise the Russian living standard and modern thinking will follow. Unfortunately Putin put paid to that idea, kept his people poor and uneducated, filling them with the old stories of the suffering motherland and how awful everyone is towards Russia . . . while creating massively powerful allies.

Fuck 'em, they need to be made militarily redundant . . . they still have their nukes as a deterrent anyway . . . no-one was ever going to invade Russia, least of all NATO.

When was the last time the Russians had any type of battlefield victory?

    Smashed outside of Kyiv
    Smashed outside of Chernihiv
    Smashed in Kharkiv twice
    Smashed around Izyum
    Recently decimated around Bakhmut
Currently, being attritted in Kherson oblast

Just where is the winning happening dippy? Where?

Oh, my. How could someone be so ignorant? Putin left the grain deal. Erdoğan just shoved him aside and started attaching the Turkish flag to all the grain ships. Putin rejoined in a failed attempt to avoid further humiliation.

What a clueless buffoon. Russia is losing this war, you idiot. There will be no negotiation aside from determining how much it will pay to rebuild Ukraine.

Mobilized Russians Launch Strike to Protest Lack of Payment

More than 100 mobilized Russian men have gone on strike at their training center in central Russia to protest their lack of payment.

The men, who hail from the republic of Chuvashia, said they still haven’t received the promised sum of 195,000 rubles ($3,170) and refuse to fight in Ukraine until they are paid.

“They are sending us to war for pennies,” one of the mobilized men told the 7x7 news website. “We’re being cheated here.”

On Tuesday night, draftees at the training center in the Volga River city of Ulyanovsk staged a protest to demand payment until security forces broke up the gathering, 7x7 reported.

The men announced a strike the following morning.

“We are risking our own lives, going to certain death for your safety and peaceful lives,” the draftees wrote in an appeal published by the Gulagu.net prisoner’s rights project.

“For whose sake, then, should we go to fight for this government, leaving our families without support? We refuse to participate in the special military operation and will seek justice until we are paid the money promised by our government headed by the president of the Russian Federation!”

A “total strike” continues at the military center in Ulyanovsk, 7x7 cited its source as saying, with the men refusing to attend training sessions.

Shooting classes at the Ulyanovsk training center have been canceled and the center's weapons storage rooms have been locked, the Sota news outlet reported Wednesday, citing unnamed sources.

A wise precaution. Last thing the Russians need is a bunch of armed and angry Chuvashians taking over the base.

Desperate Russian Draftees Have a New Battle Strategy—Pretend to Be Dead

The military draft announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin sent hordes of fearful fighting-age men fleeing for the border, but even they couldn’t have appreciated the true horror of what those unlucky enough to be mobilized and sent to the frontline in Ukraine are having to face.

Reports of drafted Russians being sent to fight with wildly insufficient training and “barely usable” equipment have abounded for weeks, but a new report suggests that recruits are resorting to pretending to be dead in the heat of battle to save their own lives.

Independent Russian outlet Novaya Gazeta Europe spoke to the wives of three men mobilized into Moscow’s 423rd Guards Motor Rifle Regiment at the end of September. The women, whose names have been changed, said their husbands are now facing court martial for leaving the frontline after being deployed into a living nightmare in Ukraine last month.

The men’s training allegedly consisted of little more than digging trenches at a camp in the forests of Belgorod Oblast in Russia before being transferred to the Luhansk region of Ukraine just two weeks later, on Oct. 14. The recruits were reportedly being commanded by two other mobilized men—neither of whom had combat experience. After their deployment, the troops’ loved ones then didn’t hear from them again until Oct. 26, when the men contacted their wives desperate for help.

One wife of a 24-year-old recruit said her husband’s company had been shelled by artillery for 12 hours, during which one of the commanders was “torn to pieces.” The surviving commander ordered a retreat—only for higher military authorities to command them to turn back to the front. “After they refused to return, they were offered new equipment, bulletproof vests, helmets—or a court martial,” the woman, referred to as “Irina,” said.

She added that her husband, along with 26 other survivors from his company, is now hiding in an abandoned house. “Their bank cards are blocked, they are without a livelihood, without money, without food, without water,” Irina said. “My husband told me that he had not eaten for several days, and we do not know what to do about it.”

Another wife, “Ekaterina,” said her 27-year-old husband was similarly trained only in digging trenches. He was allegedly sent to a section of the front in Ukraine where 76 men had been killed in shelling around two weeks before his arrival.

On Oct. 25, Ekaterina says her husband and his comrades came under a barrage of their own. “For many hours they simply lay on the ground and pretended to be dead for one simple reason: they no longer had any weapons other than machine guns,” Ekaterina said. “And there were mortars against them, drones flew over them, if they even moved a finger, then a drone would immediately fly in and destroy them.”

Reports of the appalling state of the Kremlin’s mobilized forces come after Moscow propagandists encouraged citizens to die horrible deaths for Putin rather than countenance war defeat.
