A true diplomat is a person who can tell you to go to hell in such a manner that you will be asking for directions.

Ukraine Donbass soldiers show captured Western Ukraine soldiers that they want peace. The captured one is the blond guy. He was the captain of the Ukraine patrol boat that got in an incident a couple years ago in the black sea.
The statue in the city is Kobzar Taras Shevchenco. He was a Ukrainian poet, writer, artist, public and political figure, as well as folklorist and ethnographer. His literary heritage is regarded to be the foundation of modern Ukrainian literature and, to a large extent, the modern Ukrainian language

US should stay clear of Crimea & Black Sea ‘for its own good,’ says Moscow's deputy FM, as American warships move closer to Russia
13 Apr, 2021 18:20
"Any US presence in the Black Sea is a provocation, and Washington should keep away from the area. That's according to a senior Russian diplomat, speaking after Turkey revealed that two US warships would soon arrive in the region. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told journalists that there is “absolutely nothing” that requires the Americans’ presence near his country's Black Sea shore, accusing the White House of trying to provoke Moscow.
“Provocative in the literal sense of the word: they are testing our strength, playing on our nerves. They won't succeed,” he said, noting that Washington would also be better off staying away.
“It will be for their own good,” Ryabkov added, also dubbing Washington as Moscow's “adversary.”
His use of the term marks a departure from Moscow’s usual manner of referring to the Americans as “partners.” He also accused Washington of “doing everything to undermine Russia's position in the international arena.”
The official's words come after the US told Turkey that two American warships would pass through the Bosporus Strait into the Black Sea next week. Ankara, in turn, has warned Moscow. According to the 1936 Montreux Convention on the Black Sea straits, Turkey has complete control over the Bosporus strait.
In response, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov wondered why the US was so keen to be present in the strategically important body of water, far from American shores.
“Questions are asked about what Russia is doing on the border with Ukraine. The answer is simple, we live there. It is our country,” he said.
.“But what the United States is doing with its ships and soldiers, constantly organizing NATO activities in Ukraine, thousands of kilometers away from its own territory – this question still remains unanswered.”.

A tray full of GOLD is not worth a moment in time.
Oh look, Russia thinks it owns the Black Sea now.
Taking lessons from Mr. Shithole maybe?
But doesn't Mr. Sh... defend himself against the concentration of the huge military forces on Taiwan, enhanced now with visitors from brotherly superpower?
Similarly as the NATO (and 27 states) are concerned by the massing of the huge Russian armies inside their territory, hence coming from far away?
(when two make the same, it's not always the same...)
A'hhh CNN, you've done it again! Nice one.
I presume we are still waiting for the retraction, and apology?![]()
All pretty much of a nothing sandwich.
The Americans vis-a-vis their NATO membership has every right to be in the Black Sea. Best to keep an eye on this though. If the American ships get too close to Crimea then I would say the Russians are correct to view this as a provocation, I'm trusting this isn't going to happen.
Essentially nothing happening here folks, please move along.![]()
Nah, they'll just float around the Bosporus & maybe Turkish Black sea coast in one of these ridiculous shadowboxing farces that all of the powers seem to do. 'Show of strength' my arse, more like show of childishness.
Oh I see. So CNN breathlessly reports Russian tanks being moved westwards towards the Ukrainian border and provides video 'proof'.
Which turns out to be Ukrainian tanks being moved eastwards towards the Russian border on a clearly marked Ukrainian train!
Don't you find that just a bit embarrassing, hilariously so actually? Still awaiting the retraction and apology from CNN.![]()
Oh I see, so I've been suckered, and that wasn't a Ukrainian train moving Ukrainian tanks towards Russia after all.
Is it a False Flag operation, is it all a big Conspiracy Theory?Have Russian Hackers been photoshopping?
If CNN wishes to preserve any journalistic integrity whatsoever, it needs to publish a full retraction and apology. Otherwise it has just exposed itself as a crude and amateurish propaganda mouthpiece, and it's reporting can not be believed or taken at all seriously.
The US owes Putin a few cyberattacks. Maybe now is the time.

So the US had to start a war between Ukraine and Russia before the Eurasian Economic Union treaty was signed in 2015. And that is what they did.

The Donbass represents 30% of Ukraines industrial output and Crimea is the prized geopolitical asset of Ukraine. So Russia still won. But that doesn't mean the US won't try and make it difficult for Russia still. Which is why it is coaxing Ukraine into taking back Donbass and even bringing up the idea of taking Crimea back. Which is hilarious considering its under the Russian nuclear umbrella now.
The US is very good at what it does. But so was Napoleon and Hitler. None of them had what it took.
