Can anyone confirm and maybe give me idea(s) how to solve this?
The answer is no. These are seen as personal devices like phones, and how many phones do you know that have multiple desktops and profiles?

If you want that kind of capability, you're probably best of looking at Windows 7 or even 8 tablets.

The nearest thing I can find is a third-party app but you'll have to research it yourself:

    Enterproid Divide

Android Ice Cream Sandwich update list: Will you get an upgrade?

    [Constantly updated]
Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) has been hitting our headlines nearly every day for the past couple of weeks, due to word coming from hither and thither that it’ll be landing on this handset or that tablet soon. It’s been a lot to take in, so let’s try and answer the ‘is my device getting Android Ice Cream Sandwich?’ quandary once and for all.
Let’s not confuse ourselves: we’ll spread this out over phones and tablets separately. Remember, a lot of these updates will rely on the speediness and willingness your network operator, but this is still a pretty solid guide.
    1. Phones

    Sony Ericsson
It’s good news: The normally sluggish Sony Ericsson has confirmed that the entire 2011 Sony Ericsson library will get Android 4.0. That means that the Xperia Arc and Arc S, Xperia PLAY, Xperia Neo and Neo V, Xperia Mini and Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, Xperia Active, Xperia Ray will all be playing ball. There’s no official word on timing, but some back end knowledge points to February 2012.
    LG
It’s just the very top flight of LG’s roster that’ll be making the leap to Android Ice Cream Sandwich - and it’s the first time LG has updated its phones in the UK. Ever. That means the LG Optimus Black, Optimus 2x and Optimus 3D. The schedule for this is still a mystery, but LG will be handing it over this month.
Older phones might also get a look in: ‘We are also continuing to evaluate the ICS OS to determine whether it is compatible with the functionality, features and performance of other LG smartphones,’ says LG. We wouldn’t hold your breath.
    Samsung
Samsung won’t just be blessing the Galaxy Nexus with Ice Cream Sandwich. The year-old Nexus S is currently being tested with the OS at Google HQ, which means it’ll join the fold before almost anything else in this list. In a tweet, Samsung also confirmed that ‘the Galaxy S II will be receiving ICS, but there are no dates confirmed as yet.’ We’ll keep you posted on that one.
It’s also pegged for the Galaxy Note, but is unlikely that anything lower in terms of rank, like the Samsung Galaxy Ace, will experience the Android 4.0 joy.
    HTC
While the hacking brigade have tried to bring ICS to everything all the way back to the HTC T-Mobile G1, there’s a more reserved list from HTC. Confirmed so far for an early 2012 upgrade are the HTC Sensation XL, Sensation XE and the HTC Evo 3D.
HTC’s Facebook page has mentioned it’s looking into porting it to older devices, but the company has a history of updates taking an age via UK network providers.
    Motorola
The new Motorola Razr will definitely be getting Ice Cream Sandwich. That we know for sure. The more recent DROID handsets in the US will also be getting it, but there’s been nothing in terms of handsets like the Motorola Defy.
The Razr should be getting its update very early into the new year.

Some of these devices are phones, obviously. But 9"/10" devices can hardly be seen and used as phones.... At least, I thought.
And I can see a lot of couples/families "sharing" these tablets (yes, tablet not phone)!

I can also call from any desktop pc, or the next mac. Does this make them phone?
In short, all this means tablets are still just toys!

yes and no, I think that for 99% of users it can really replace their desktop PC

I am using more and more my AndroidTab for reading emails, reading news, word document, PDF documents, and even trading since they have apps under Android

it's much more dedicated to simple use, and could replace the need for a full desktop or even a laptop

Just put this custom version of ICS 4.0.1 for SGS. It's still beta and a little laggy in places, but bloody slick all round. Just installed it to check it out but will stay with it and just keep updating. Right now there is no video camera but shouldn't be far off, as well other known issues but defo useable and shits all over 2.x. OMG battery life is so much better. I got build 7 from the link below, all done through CWM, took about 3 minutes to upgrade from 2.3.4.

Butters mate you best stay away from this new fangle dangle Android gizmo stuff until you at least learn how to plug a PC into a modern TV and play games on it. Step by step brother.

LMAO @ Viewsonic pads. They're the pads for people who want other people to see they have a pad, but not actually use it. Their performance is atrocious compared to the galaxy tabs or Asus range. I used one for a few hours, well it was pretty much unuseable. Now Butters will start crying about how shit Android OS is coz he's a tight arse on hardware specs. Behaviour cycles and all that.

no complain on the Viewsonic, it works perfectly

but again the basement boys always want the best in terms of performance and specs to play their teenage RP games so they can feel at the top of the world with their 5000Ghz machines

What are you doing with it? Showing it off to ladyboys? Do you actually use it.

The good thing about spending my teens in Mum's basement was a grounding in modern technology.

the Moto was quite nice, almost went for it, then I realized it was just some silly gadget

I would rather spend good money on Katoys drinks and barfines, they are worth every baht
