Got me a new Android

Now I need to figure out a new device again.

I subscribed to a True Move plan and tried to use the new sim card in my trusty old galaxy tab 1. No dice, The Tab1 is an antique.
So I buy a new Tab 3. Great little motherfucker, but I want to transfer my apps from 1 to 3. Not as easy as you expect. I'm still trying to figure it out.
I downloaded the recommend app "smart switch" from a USA server, but for some freaking reason the program opens in the Thai language and I'm lost, farking hell!

I use file expert HD as my file explorer - it has an option for backing up apps and saves the .apk file

you could also go the full monty and use titanium backup pro

^yepper, that's what I've had to do.

^ these phones should, especially if you buy the same brand from a major retailer, have everything copied over for you, so you can just switch on and continue as before... I know that you get various s/w to help that process (the Sony software seems pretty good), but it would be nice if it was a kinda customer loyalty service provided by the brand shops...

My Samsung tab has become almost indispensable to me. I use it to read books, check email, troll forums, enter grades at work and to watch downloaded movies and tv shows while traveling.

It's gone from something I couldn't find a reason to use to something I can't hardly do without.
