Me too, make sure Kpot is authentic Thai with the wall and ensure there is no block overlap just looks plain ridiculous if they stagger the courses![]()
How deep did they make the wall post foundations?
I like your thinking... why make problems? no need to cut all those half blocks...just make the uprights match the gap for whole blocks..
or even better... forget the uprights altogether..
and... to finish off, only colour it with 1 coat of watered down paint so that everyone can see your state-of-the-art block work and the builder can get tons more work off the back of his efforts.
It's win-win, right?
Do you intend to render the wall as done on house walls?
Gold to enhance your royal doors?
Boundary wall base 1
He's racing for this one - must be something to do with cash
not even shuttered the bean, let alone cast it... and the blocks are there and waiting!
Ahh..here come the shutters
hes rushing but... the chairs are all in place.

Better than that.. I told him, half finish it, then 'accidentally' back that truck and lean it over, ideally with a couple of cracks as well....... then pick back up with the build but back on the vertical.
standard build practice in some parts of BKK...
Jeez I hope hes not reading this and getting ideas.
I will quietly let it grow back over, apart from a small footpath from my back gate up to our other plot 1 where the resort will go, eventually.
Long term the govt are saying they will put a small lane there... not sure who for though since we own most of the land behind it!
Actually TD, its a little known fact that non-overlapping block courses and a leaning wall are in fact deliberately built into boundaries as ingress deterrents, we think its just shoddy workmanship but generations of Thais can't be wrong - you try to scale one of them you are taking your life into your own hands. Make sure KPot gets this right and ensure he's used 7:1 sand cement mortar mix.
lol it looks 4m mike, but in fact its only 3.85m. angles can be decep... ok..ok ..! I will tell him. its actually 2m in the main but on the front side its 2.5m so we don't see the road when we are looking out from the balcony.
That's the idea anyway.
yes... he's used that shutter bracing all the way through... I did not see it before but maybe its been used else where
