Believe it or not its the end product of the black bag waste from London,s citizens.

In these days of recycling in the UK the demand for recyled products has gone through the roof.
This material has 2 sizes of recyled stone added to it 20mm and 10mm and the lowest grade is filtered out as dust ( 6f 1 fines )

Example of price comparrison 1 Ton of this as Type 1 material = £ 12

    1 Ton of qaurried Limestone Type 1 = £ 25 +

We carried over 300.000 tons out of this North London plant last year alone . It goes down well as a road base and is proving very popular whilst creating jobs and wealth , compared to just landfilling it.
It does hum a bit on your lorry and usually comes complete with a collection of knives forks and spoons .
The guy on the loading shovel has permission in his lunch break to rummage through the waste metal area for £1 and £2 coins ( he makes a tidy amount each week ) BUT the manager has a very strict arrangement with him , if he is caught on camera ANY other time doing that he is straight up the road

I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs

Hahaaaa.... they might though.... on special serves by request, with Chow Chow meat in rural villages in China!

Mutton is Goaty... lamb is from sheep. Mutton sets the tune with aromas sizzling out of the lady's bodies if over consumed... so now you know....

Can't agree more... when in Malaysia, try Kajang Satay (in city of Kajang if you can drive there) or The Satay Club either at Lau Pa Sat or in Sembawang, both in Singapore.

Satay served with Tiger Prawns too... but the gravy decides what satay should taste like....

Lamb meat is OK too but needs to be richly marinated for several days required and then it becomes tasty too. Old lamb meat is recommended... is not tender and may stick like glue to the stick. You should try goat's meat, its beyond description, its like eating skunk meat which is awesome when richly marinated, the skunk i.e.

    You are right. From wikki:

    • Lamba young sheep under 12 months of age which does not have any permanent incisor teeth in wear
    • Hoggeta sheep of either sex having no more than two permanent incisors in wear[4]
    • Muttona female (ewe) or castrated male (wether) sheep having more than two permanent incisors in wear.

the island in the photo has a bit of history - in the early 1800's a local queen met a pirate captain and a large feast was had and during the course of events they shagged and the son went on to become the leader of the tribes of the coastline here for a 40 odd years - on the island there is still the remains of the couldron and the grave of the queen - I went over to it at the beginning of the year and I have been meaning to do a thread with some photos

Dispelling the confusion between lamb & mutton, sheep & goats i.e. here's a true cuisine reference>>>

    Characteristics

The meat of a lamb is taken from the animal between one month and one year old, with a carcase (carcass in American English) weight of between 5.5 and 30 kilograms (12 and 65 lbs). This meat generally is more tender than that from older sheep and appears more often on tables in some Western countries. Hogget and mutton have a stronger flavour than lamb because they contain a higher concentration of species-characteristic fatty acids and are preferred by some.[9] Mutton and hogget also tend to be tougher than lamb (because of connective tissue maturation) and are therefore better suited to casserole-style cooking, as in Lancashire hotpot, for example.

    Goat meat seller in Kabul

Goat has a reputation for strong, gamey flavor, but can be mild depending on how it is raised and prepared.[2] Despite being classified as red meat, goat is leaner and contains less cholesterol and fat than both lamb and beef;[6] therefore it requires low-heat, slow cooking to preserve tenderness and moisture.

Goat can be prepared in a variety of ways such as being stewed, curried, baked, grilled, barbecued, minced, canned, fried, or made into sausage. Goat jerky is also another popular variety. In Okinawa (Japan) goat meat is served raw in thin slices as "yagisashi". In India, the rice-preparation of mutton biryani uses goat meat as a primary ingredient to produce a rich taste. "Curry goat" is a common traditional Indo-Caribbean dish. Cabrito, a specialty especially common in Latin cuisines such as Mexican, Peruvian, Brazilian, and Argentine, is usually slow roasted. Southern Italian and Greek cuisines are also both known for serving roast goat in celebration of Easter;[4] goat dishes are also an Easter staple in the alpine regions of central Europe, often braised (Bavaria) or breaded and fried (Tyrol).

There's Tizme here who I am certain, knows pretty well about Mutton and "Mutton Soup" served with sliced French loafs, a popular dish that i used to go for after midnight!!!

Yes, me and some 250 bikers back in our early / late teens in the late 60s would create havoc with our Kawas, or Suzukis to Hondas and Norton machines hassling Police stations to come out and catch us if they dare in their patrol cars...hahaaa

After our band of teasing them cops at various parts of the country or betting at some illegal street races B4 the break of dawn shows up, we'll settle at some of our famous popular hawker eat-outs (while the most are slapped tired in there sacks from exhaustion at work) we will be enjoying among other dishes, Mutton Soup with brains in it too!!!

This was back in my hay days as a teen in Singapore.

Here's a dishy Mutton Soup ... ladies luv it too (functions as an Aphrodisiac) before we all go sink-in and head for our orgies occasionally at a nearby beach ... not all fancy Orgies but we do!

Yup.... it sure can look that way Patsy but you need to taste it to discover a world of difference it has & to clean the bone of its marrow too, THEN...(its a deep sucking slurp to do it right) its nothing like Soup Kambing (mutton soup) as Nidhogg rightfully mentions it.

Its great to have Irish stew too esp. with outpouring showers we are getting here... how's yr side for the douche?
