I took the dog out in the woods yesterday.. this fella thought he could hide by staying still.

Great weather here this weekend, about 25 c and really feels like summer.

Don't know what these flowers are but it was a chance to try the macro zoom setting.

Found this critter in the back yard this morning while watering the plants. What’s bigger than a Gecko but smaller than a Tokay?

Note the markings around the eye of this guy in below picture.

Kind of a big deal,………odd number of Monks have to be there to read a sermon, which everyone repeats (but the kids). I was told that when you do some reconstruction to a building (major?), this should be done. It is to move the spirits (including the old property owners) into the new spirit house, along with the new owners of the property.
A lot of food offered, blessing of the new Spirit House (and saying good bye to the old), new figurines into the new spirit house, a lot of garnish and candles. Then afterwards a large meal (monk/s eat first).

very interesting. I had not browsed through this thread, just knowing it would be full of BS photos of the riots...

Surprise, surprise, only one that was riot related and would have made a good shot regardless.

Three full pages of photos with no blood, smoke or tears.

    Good work guys.

My bald head after I woke up at a resort early in the morning to go for a piss, little did I know during the night a water pipe burst and had flooded the sleeping area and near did a back flip when I slipped.
I am not really that bald, they must of shaved it before they stitched me up

It's commonplace to see a morosai sahleng in Thailand- but this ones got street cred. Notice the tinny holder.

This is one of my all time favorite any time to eat foods.

I’m sure it has some sort of name to it and that there are various different ingredients that can be added but this is the way I prepared it to my taste.
Approximately 8 tomatoes (I like using Italian plum tomatoes).
Approximately 1 cup of Extra Virgin Italian Olive Oil.
Approximately 2 table spoons of “Italian Seasoning” which contains Marjoram, Thyme, Rosemary, Savory, Sage, Oregano and Basil.
    4 cloves of garlic.
    ½ purple skinned onion.
Course Ground Black Pepper to taste.
    Garlic Salt to taste.
    Italian Bread.

    - Finely chop the tomatoes, garlic, and onions and place in a mixing bowl.
    - Add Extra Virgin Olive Oil and “Italian Seasoning” to mixing bowl with chopped veggies and mix.
    - Add Course Ground Black Pepper and Garlic Salt to taste.
    - Let it set for about an hour. I like mine chilled so I let it set in the refrigerator.
    - Slice the Italian Bread and warm in oven or microwave just prior to serving.
    - Spoon the tomato concoction on the warm bread. (In our case at home, we just scoop the warm bread into the tomato mix and enjoy!
