What kind of machine are you using to make the coffee, Mike?

One of these double espressos could send Mike over the edge

There's nothing like the aromas of freshly ground coffee or a good yeast infection to start a day

Same as you would if Korat Chef had a Brit Week

^ True enough. I'll be paying them a visit tomorrow as I've run out of Chocolate Hobnobs. They don't seem to last very long at all.

^ The shrinkflation in packet size...or you being a gluttunous bastard?

It's rare we buy from the branded robbing fucks of McVities and co nowadays. I'll have to give Lidls hobnobs a try and get back to you now...but IMHO Lidl and Aldi do crisps better than Walkers nowadays and a lot more besides.

Here's a couple of their coffees that are blatant copies of big brands that you wouldn't know the difference between.

Well.... unless you're Mike on a caffeine fuelled rampage around the wrong supermarket

^ How ironic... I don't get the choice of buying imitation chocolate biscuits here in Korat and have to buy the originals!

I'm feeling my way back into this coffee malarky, never one to like waste i over did the coffee, three rounded table spoons of ground coffee and that cafiteee whats it called yielded two mugs. My tinitus has kicked in big style which i think is due to elevanted blood pressure not helped by the anxiety of losing £50 quid on Symples sunday league team. I don't envisage a restful afternoon and i have an urge to peruse the middle aisles in Liddl and Aldi and a strange craving for a KFC.

Yeah, you were a little bit slow there.

But I accept defeat, without challenge.

    Well done!

Yes, you probably used too much coffee. The instructions say: 1 rounded dessert spoon of coffee per person.

For two cups of coffee, try two dessert spoons of ground coffee next time instead of three table spoons.

Decaffeinated coffee might be worth a try if you suffer from high blood pressure.

^^ Interesting enough, during my short stay in hospital back in November the nurses took my blood pressure every four hours, and I noticed that drinking a cup of coffee before a test consistently raised my systolic pressure by around 10%. And that was just Nescafe instant coffee.

Did you factor in the presence of nurses into your equation?
