Daily cheer. I guess falling more and more in love with each other every time we meet. :-)



Lovely day up at a jungle temple with almost no accessible roads. 10 km off the last Google Street Car location. Where's stumpo and his quad when ya need him. In a huff, that's where. *huff* Largest wooden Buddha or something carved in the largest something tree ever something, or something or other. Was very nice and peaceful. :-)

In other news I'm on me second coffee, wide awake as usual before 5am and its great to see Sympl spreading military refrences all over the shop and Snub splitting hairs over Rolex being a British company. My Ganddad had a perpetual in the 30s but sadly my Dad didn't pass it on to me.

While being in an ICU generally sucks, there can be some amusing bits. I am completely restricted to bed, except to use a commode when needed. Nature finally called, did my business as carefully and clearly as I could. Tidied myself up and called for help to get back into bed. Two of the smallest and pixiest nurses came in to help me back to bed, and in all seriousness asked if I wanted them to check I had cleaned my asshole properly. I chased them from the room....

I will put this in the "cheer" thread - finally after nine days in hospital was discharged today. Back to home sweet home.

I am very happy to note that using my connections, I was able to get the private hospital farang surcharge (30%) completely waived and got the local rate. Saved me around 50 to 60K. Nice having connections occasionally.
