Starship 9 on the launch mount




Pad B in Boca Chica under construction. It looks very different from Pad A, that will launch flight 9. Once Pad B is ready they will tear down the launch mount of Pad A and replace it with the new type. The old launch mount is not compatible with the next coming generation of boosters.



The new launch mount under construction on the left. The launch tower with the chopsticks on the right. The red huge bags hanging down from the chopsticks are water bags to do loadtests. They were filled with a large amount of water, I think 600t.
