Either way, you're gonna start losing with commissions and exchange rates.

    ...I think???
The local exchange will have the equivalent exchange rate of BTC to euro and it will match the value in USD.

I buy a car for 1 Lulucoin off Dodgy Dilly.

    Current value: $10,000

I bought the Lulucoin for $5,000 2 weeks previously.

He keeps the Lulucoin for 3 months and sells it for $20,000.

I bought a $10,000 car for $5,000. Gain is $5,000 in product value. Loss is potential $15,000

Dodgy Dilly sold his product valued at $10,000 and ended up with $20,000.

2 days later lulucoin.io is nothing but a whitescreen with the word Penis written on it.

The guy who bought Dodgy Dill's Lulucoin is down $20,000 and Lulu is releasing MintyCoin - 'The Currency You Can Trust' from the Democratic Lupublic of Congo.

All good and (nearly) everyone's happy.

Gains and losses are only made or lost at the time you transfer it to fiat.

The magnum of Dom Perignon found under the seat does make up for the odour.

The daytraders that bought yesterday are doing very well.

Selling this afternoon for a 25% gain in a day.

Personally gonna wait for a 50% gain. Though might take a while (BTC @ 300k)

May happen sooner than ya think, as news of the recent hearings on crypto by the SEC and CFTC filter out. The news is not too bad, perhaps kinda good, even though it is US government bullshit.

^ everything is showing strong green, but I suspect another dip before the rocket to the moon at the end of the month.

I'd kinda like to see $3000.00 again and buy in some more at a nice discount.

I'm waiting, no need to be greedy. I'm quite happy sitting on a nice little pile of bitcoin along with a healthy pile of Thai baht, ready for action.

I'm in for the long game. This year is going to show how fragile and unstable the USD situation really is.

Millions of people will be hedging their USD holding into some Bitcoin.

Sorry for being a bit slow.

Any chance you can give an example of something you physically purchased using Bitcoin and the process?

This video (2&half minutes) does a good sum up of what blockchain/DLT can achieve.
