Some interesting history here for those new to the market.

Years ago Ripple hired a young Russian crypto-wizkid to work on Ripple's smart contracts platform Codius. The US state department turned down his work visa application and the young wizkid Vitalik Buterin went off to start his own little smart contract platform Ethereum. Ripple cancelled it's work on Codius and pivoted towards focusing on X-border banking. Just recently they have announced they are resurrecting the Codius project. They certainly ain't holding back. Compare that to the BTC core dev team that just bicker and plan and announce things that never happen and just string along the poor old crypto-anarchists like Earl.
Some people think it don't, but it be.

No they are not and I am planted to my computer looking for a buy window. Problem is that I got a lot of money in LTC and it is currently down. I am still long term on LTC but I am thinking of making late move on some XRP as I think it has legs.

    ^^

    I bet.

    Just going through some options.

I'm at 74% roi for the month (as of midnight last night).

Probably 80%+ come tomorrow given the way XRP has gone.

    Could just do it monthly.

Pull out the 80% I've made for the month, use it as play money, stick some in the bank or whatever, and just keep the original amount in, and then do the same next month, and on and on and on until one day the monthly return is in the negative and I pull it out.

Or keep it all in, and if next month is 80%, then I'm getting 80% of 180% of my original investment, the next month would be 80% of 244% and let it roll over and over.

Plan is to just let it roll over and over for a year and see where it's at.

Pulling out the 80%, and doing so monthly with whatever % amount it is would also be a nice bump of fun money every month though.

Litecoin founder sells all his Litecoin, but promises not to leave.

    https://cointelegraph.com/news/litec...s-not-to-leave

Sounds shaky but the market didn't blink at it, and looks like the guy's a financially stable altruist which is probably good news. Will buy a couple.

This is going to be such a rollercoaster this year as it careers towards inevitable regulation by summer... even I know someone who is busy inventing a cryptocurrency... it's like 1997/98 all over again

    Still 85.

If it hits 75 in the next few hours I'll pull the profit yesterday's move made, and buy some champagne for tomorrow with it instead.

They're shaking the tree, to scare some into throwing in the towel for some champagne.

Ripple might be good for short time trading, but it ain't a true decentralized blockchain crypto like BTC, LTC and others. It can be controlled by central banksters. So it equals = Bullshit.

one of the coins I'll never buy.

You might like to know that Bitcon is more centralised than XRP and there are plans to decetralise XRP further.

Although you might like to consider what centralisation actually means to you. Is it actually useful to be decentralised and fall apart like BTC?
