btw, I'm really pleased with Exodus.

If doing it again, I don't think I'd have bothered with the Nano Ledger, and just would have used Exodus. Maybe split up between different wallets on different computers just so not to have everything going through one account/wallet.

you need to understand blockckchains - if you have your seed phrase written or printed you can install a compatible wallet and as it is encoded in the block chain you will have your coin

Yeah, to be fair there doesn't seem to be any wallet out there that hold all of the main ones.

    ^^ Cheers.

And thanks to all the other posters that have given great information, education, advice and everything else over the last 6 weeks or so.

Baldrick, Ray, Plan B, Longway, FRK, Earl, Rehaze etc.

    Much appreciated.

MEW's good for all the ERC20s, which includes most of Exodus' coins. Pretty much all i trade anymore are the ERC coins,, except for a couple that provide their own wallets.

    You mean 'calling it quits'?

Putting what I have bought already away for the rest of the year, plan is to sell 90% of their value in December.

Gonna move into crypto day/week trading now for a bit of fun.

Have you not read the past 100 posts I mentioned it in?

Not terribly surprising from someone who after months of lurking/trolling this thread still fails to understand what Bitcoin represents.
Even Jamie Dimon understands now and it's very likely Warren Buffet is secretly buying Bitcoin and bad mouthing it on the media to bring the prices down.

Advice on UK exchange/broker for specific purpose, to purchase BTC/ETH in GBP and transfer to Thailand.

Coinbase requires the deposit to be made in Euros.

Etoro requires purchased coins to be held in your account and does not allow transfers out of the account.

Coinfloor says that due to the volume of work I should allow 4 working days for a deposit to show in my account.

    Anyone...?

I'm buying a range of cryptos and putting them away in paper wallets for the long-term. I'm sure some will crash out, but hopefully others will rocket.

    I'll maybe do something like:

    60% = Bitcoin and Ethereum
40% = alt coins (Ripple, Dash, Litecoin, Zcash, other loony tokens)

    Purely a gamble

Rubbish. His reputation is worth more than a few million dollars to him, plus any serious investor in crypto knows that to gain value one has to promote the currency so that more fools come in on the bottom rung of this pyramid scheme.

You need to bear in mind that Earl drinks his own piss and - whatever the merits or otherwise of alt-coins are - his deranged rantings bare little relation to anything even close to actual reality.

I use bitstamp, you can deposit in euros, and whatever you lose in the GBP/Euro exhange, you make up (and more) in the premium that thais seem to pay for their cryptos. Ah you mentioned euros already, check out the price differential in thailand and the international market for cryptos, i dont think you will lose anything.

Consider his current wealth and his reputation built up over years.
There is no way he would rubbish crypto while shorting. It's just not worth it to him.
And he's not that sort of guy to fool the public so as to make a buck.

I am certain that Warren Buffet has better insight into investment and currency exchange than ANYONE on this forum. Better integrity too, than some.

More ASICs too. Maybe more focus on Anon-coins and distributed storage.
Short term pain, but the sooner they get the regulatory issues sorted the sooner mass adoption and investment, market cap these days hovering around 550 billion, at highs it reached 750 billion plus.

That's why i am concentrating on ICOs (token issues), some look like they have real value to bring to specific markets. I think rewards and points, and gaming are tailor made for block chain based tokens, also AI research will need a lot of rented computing power, best paid for by issuing bock chain tokens, hence why I want to build GPU mining rigs to use in this market, which I think will come to the fore in 2019. In the meantime you can mine coins, which at current prices get 100% ROI in 4-6 months and if one moons you are flush in the cash.

One token I bought, GAT, at $0.016, already taken out my capital at $0.075 and will reinvest in other issues. I fact all the ICOs I bought are showing good profits. eg OST, CAT and C20.

There is a risk of the market crashing, but I am in it now, and not going anywhere, so may as well get active.

Baldwin: Weird thing just happened. I stored some NEO on my Nano a few days ago, noticed a button on the interface inviting me to claim 0.00000240 Gas and over the next days the amount rose to 0.00579692, decided wtf let's click on this, it asked me to confirm 1 and then 2 of 2 transactions, thought wtf let's do it, and suddenly I became the proud owner of $0.29c worth of GAS. Then the GAS amount zeroed and started again...now at 0.00014752 and rising.

Not sure what's going on, but assuming this is free money albeit cents, it might entice people like dragonfly to give up their day job and make a career of claiming GAS. What do you think, should we tell him?

They mine the gas from his posts I think, so better not tell him.
