    ^ Exactly.

Interesting story on this single barrel bourbon. So I bought this bottle 8+ years ago and along with many other bottles, brought it over in my cargo container. I vaguely remember it being about $50 at the time. I wanted it because it was distilled at the Buffalo Trace distillery but using a special Mash bill process. Its 50% ABV so 100 proof. Today I decided to have a pour....or 2....maybe 3... who knows. Anyway I forgot about the history behind it and went to a few of the Bourbon sites I follow to check out the history etc. I was thrown back. So this was distilled from a # 2 Mash bill which is what many of the the really unique bourbon distillers sought after like Blanton's, Willett, Pappy Van Winkle etc ( Snubs would appreciate it). I saw the price of the bottle now if you can even find it.

The 3 sites I follow they have it at $400 plus now.

Cheers to the Warrior's. nice win today on the road. NFL tomorrow.

And you're drinking it alone. Ciz and Mendy will not approve.

You know I thought their logic was all backwards. Why drink rot gut alone? Drink your top shelf stuff to enjoy it. If guests come, break out the rot gut with a bunch of mixers.

Honestly Joe it tastes like a very nice Bourbon. Great nose, easy drink. Would I pay $400 for it.....no way. It's not that good. It's only been aged in single oak barrels for ~3 to 4 years. Paying that kind of money you would expect it be aged 15 years or more. What I paid for it at $50 or $60 or so is about right.

Not sure which thread Looper was posting his pea protein powder meals in.

Just ordered a pack of it.

Plan to drink it not add it to meals though.

Plan to drink one serving after morning cycling. One serving after afternoon upperbody gym.

    Maybe with tea/water/milk.

    Pea powder..... hmmmmm.

If I suddenly wake up in my mid-50's in the middle of nowhere with 7 dogs licking peanut butter off me feet, I'll know what's to blame.

I don't know what any of that has to do with me.

    What's my supposed 'logic' again?

See if you can find Vega Protein, made with pea protein. Been drinking it for about three years. Drink with water. .. comes in various flavors.

Plant based protein, mentioned it in Looper's thread as well.
