    ^ FFS, how many times...

Wurzel is spelt with a 'U', not an 'O'.

And that wasn't one of my mates, that was my sister.

Tonight I caught the gardener decanting some Ya Dong from a Highland Park Bottle into a Bombay Sapphire bottle. I don't like to touch things in the gardener's kitchen, let alone drink or eat anything from said room. It really is quite disgusting, but sometimes of course an occasional shot of Ya Dong is unavoidable.

A few times lately I've awoken around 2 or 3am with my heart racing a bit, and I put it down to the caffeine in the Ya Dong so around a week ago I completely cut it from my diet. The gardener swears that there's no caffeine in Ya Dong. He says there is cough mixture but mainly a lot of Tom Yam ingredients would you believe, along with Lao Khao of course and a few medicinal herbs and stuff.

Anyway, I've gone a bit up market and now just have the occasional glass of wine. I sleep a lot better now.

^ funny one Mendy. Ya dong or Mont Clair Red Celebration. Is there really a difference other then 1 in a box and the other swapped back and forth between bottles previously used?

A smart decision in my option. Cough medicine, rotgut and herbs vs cheap red wine.

^^^^^^looks like the gardener has got a full Isaan stinky-kitchen chemistry set going on in the background of that Ya Dong decanting ceremony. Refrigeration of fermented sauces is for lightweights

    Tonights brew is Erdinger Weissbrau

1886 - not the oldest privatbrauerei anywhere I guess

Fermented with the Bavarian double-maturity method according to the gold stripe

    What are you drinking today?-img_20230612_203257-jpg

But those maturity credentials have been shot down in flames by monocled Walter peaking out and photo-bombing the pouring ceremony at the last second

You are going to get me in trouble again Walter

But who can blame him? A hardcore General deserves a cold brau before blowing his brains out with his service Luger rather than be taken alive

I think it was the fruity fragrance of tonights bubbles that tipped him over the edge, after a long bubbles drought, and too much manly weissbrau recently

These strict authoritarian SS types are always closet woofties

None of that nonsense from the Wehrmacht generals

Greta will be giving him his cold steel Luger up his rear after he's consumed all that bubbly beverage , I hope she has a gas mask, coz it's gonna be akin to a Nazi Gas chamber when Gunter back fires.

Red owed Looper. You seem to have some sort of learning disability.

Btw. I do have a pour shot, just didn't post it. I enjoyed 3 pours last night of that WP.

Umm can you keep the weather reports to the weather thread please. We don't need to read paragraphs and paragraphs about precipitation on a drinking thread thank you.

Been working hard on a project the last week or two, and this evening the test operator came over to iron out some hitches.

Production blocks missing. Incorrectly fitted, etc etc.

Anyway, we decided to have a beer after going through the important stuff.

Checked what was in the fridge and he wasn't impressed at all.

And with good reason to be fair.

    The fooker was snarling.

Thought a sip might chill him out a bit.

He started screaming.... 'Where's a ze fookin Moretti! You lil momma bitch!'.

    Then tipped over the glass.

I rode my Ducati into the Triumph workshop one time, switched it off, dismounted and made way for the bar, then the coolant cap went pop and it pissed coolant all over the floor.
