Life is full of difficult decisions.
My first of the day was whether to have a big slug of whisky while waiting for the results of my PCR test, and hopefully freedom. The results have been promised for 8am.
I wouldn't normally drink hard liquor before breakfast, but after six dry weeks offshore that was an easy decision... but the second was more difficult...

Incidentally, I couldn't get an Easter Egg for the daughter at Oslo but Istanbul came up trumps. It wasn't quite what I had in mind but beggars can't be choosers and all that. Drinking whisky before breakfast doesn't seem quite so sad when you have company!

this stuff was on special at the local liquorland for 55 AUD so I have given it a try - the reviews said it was ok
I think it is quite good - smooth taste with a bit of ice or without
this trend of whiskies is quite alright - I enjoyed the Bruichladdich barley I tried previously and will get another of this spearhead while it is still at a good price
