For £14 I would have thought that included the glass as well, still extortionate at that.
One thing you can't grumble about in the UK is the price of alcohol!
Everything else is ridiculously priced.
If I didn't know any better I'd surmise that the government would prefer a nation of alcoholics to a nation of rebellious civil war rioters.

Because I'm a regular stayer, this hotel gives me a 150 NOK voucher every day I stay, which I use for a free pint of after work Ringnes. It would seem rude not to.
Back when I was alive this free pint would have been the first of many more around town, but no longer. I need my sleep these days. After my solitary pint of Ringnes I retreat to my room to watch something on Netflix.
I must admit though, I'm starting to consider a trip over the road!

And the Norwegians don't do an 'after work' pint, so I drink alone in the hotel bar (not that that's a show stopper, of course - I've had many of my best nights in Korat drinking alone with just my dogs for company).
And, to be quite honest, I'm really enjoying the rare opportunity to have evenings alone to watch series on Netflix while drinking a couple of glasses of wine in my hotel room.
Fvck netflix, get over the road and get some Jong action.

I'm really busy at work today but have to make some comments here.
Firstly, can I put in a formal complaint about that picture Reg Dingle has posted. That is photoshopped and I look nothing like that in real life.
The reason I have an after work beer is more just to have a quiet half hour or so at a bar, killing some time while sending a few messages. A shot of whisky just wouldn't do the job as one sip and it'd be gone. I enjoy a whisky chaser with a pint but not at work, and not in Norway. I decent shot is 25 quid here.
I must admit that it can get a bit worrying at times when you add up the alcohol units, but one pint a night and maybe one or two glasses of wine doesn't seem excessive to me, but there ya go, I must be out of touch. I know many people who drink way more than me, but I appreciate that still doesn't make it right. I'll only have one glass of wine tonight so a 50% reduction, just like that!

I never go for massages anyway, I don't like them. I'm not a touchy person and I don't even like holding hands unless it's going somewhere. Therefore I very much doubt that my passport renewal trips have had anything to do with rising fuel prices... but I know one thing... I'm not complaining.
I've never been so busy! :)
