The last time I travelled back up to Korat from Bangkok on the weekend before Songkran I swore that I'd never do it again...

But of course I did.



The bright lights and razzmatazz of Bangkok are all very well but I'm getting too old for all that stuff. I wanted to get back to Korat for some home cooking.

This is where I belong... back to normality. All seven are there if you look carefully.



And despite rumours, not a Lady Boy to be seen. I'm determined, yet again, not to slip back into old habits but the first night home is different so I allowed myself a couple of Leos with Highland Park chasers.

Yogi is turning into a really great drinking buddy. Just like my old mate Hartley, in Axbridge, Somerset, Yogi just sits there, says nothing, always looks happy with a big smile on his face and always buys his round. Perfect... apart from the buying his round bit.
