I think the 50s and 60s were the real zenith of lithe and imaginative jet design aesthetics on the British drawing boards.
I like to imagine that the awesome British Javelin Missile, scourge of the Russian armoured divisions in 2022, was named after the elegant delta-winged legend (but probably it was not).
