Tendulkar fails to score his hundreth international century during this series.
Indian on the rack at 4/118 still 382 behind.
Ball turning in Abu Dhabi
The next record Tendulkar sets will be 100th innings without scoring 100.
England have a tidy lead of 70
Australia won the fourth cricket Test against India by 298 runs at Adelaide Oval on Saturday's final day.
Chasing 500 to win, the Indians were bowled out for 201 in their second innings with spinner Nathan Lyon taking four wickets and paceman Ryan Harris claiming three.
The tourists lost their last four wickets inside the first hour of play on the final day, with Test cricket's second highest run-scorer Rahul Dravid tipped to soon announce his retirement
England have Pakistan on the rack at 8 down with only 128 run lead.
If the Pakis put on another 50 it would make it very interesting especially on this spinning wicket. Monty has bowled beautifully on it.
145 to win - I hope we get off to a good start, don't want to let their spinners into the game and nerves to get up... Plenty left for the Pakistanis to fight for here... A good test of the English batting lineup; who's gonna stand up and be counted???
Cycling should be banned!!!
Looks like we will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory again...
68-6 nearly half way there, but... oh, 68-7.
68-7...
Time for Monty to do the business *TAXI!*
Yes it's time for some British Bulldog rearguard action... and fkin lots of it!

Right, let's change the topic... Have you seen the new Range Rover? It's a lovely vehicle, but I hate to think how much it'd cost here.
I'm going down the pub.
I see eBay have a good deal on DVDs at the moment.
Beautiful it is, and very practical.
Anyways, as this is a sporting thread, I'm looking forward to watching the upcoming Warwickshire game, should be a real belter...
^ & ^^While since you had a decent win.

I have to agree with you Harry, pretty paltry. 72 is a lot better.............Originally Posted by harrybarracuda

I set me whole day around it, from 12:30 build up to the 7pm(ish) ending... Another day of my life wasted; actually, the last couple hours last night as Pakistan were starting to put some runs on the board was a good indication of how today would go...Originally Posted by Loy Toy
The English commentators were saying that anything under 200 should be okay; the Pakistani commentators were saying they'd be happy with a 150-170 lead; I thought we needed to keep the lead down to 100-120...![]()
^ I posted this 3 days ago and it was a monster wicket to bat on.Originally Posted by Loy Toy
I really thought anything over 150 was going to be difficult and it was.
Yes, the 2 young Pakistani middle order guys did very well, won the game for them.
Awful by the many 'senior' English batsman though; it only needed 2 of em to get average scores of 30 or 40 and play with a bit of dominance...
