And it's been a great series with the Windies having a strong very young team.

It's been a long time since they have been a force in World Cricket and maybe they now have a team to stick it up everyone again.

Great for cricket if they are.

Victory by 30 runs means Australia level the series at 2-2.

Minor quibbles aside, it's been a terrific series, closely fought (all but one match went down to the final few overs) and with some cracking individual contributions. Australia have underwhelmed slightly but salvaged some pride at the end; their 17-year unbeaten record in ODI series against West Indies remains intact. In the performances of Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine and Sammy, West Indies fans have reasons to be cheerful.

SL won the toss and elected to bat against England. Not such a good move maybe, as they're 25/3.

Probably banking on England having to bowl in the midday heat.

SL's one man team is doing very well; 140 or so, more than half the score.

253-8, new ball can be taken.

Hopefully, on this flat and slow pitch, England's higher batting order can put some hefty runs in and put SL under pressure in the 2nd innings...

Monty teaming up very well with the SL captain to help SL set a decent 1st innings total...

England 121 for 6 and it could of been a lot worse if not for Ian Bell with able support from Broad.

Collapsing like a clown's car. Not a good time to tour Sri Lanka, evil heat and humidity. But if you want to prove yourselves, you have to win there.

    ^ oh dear...

But, if you take out the SL captain's score then it's about even; maybe Monty (just come in) will get a century?

Ohhhh, number 3 down for 14 odd runs, and it's the important wicket. Need to keep the pressure up here and bowl them out for a very small total (before collapsing again with the bat...).

Sri Lanka ahead by 275 runs with 2 wickets in hand.

If Sri Lanka set England 300 runs to chase then I feel that is an extremely difficult task on this bitch of a wicket.

England post their fourth or is it fifth consecutive loss in Test cricket. Now that was a short reign at the top.
What say you Bobcock, or are you Welsh to the bootheels these days?
